Anyone else planning to attend QC Game Fest? It's gonna be pretty spectacular!
Play To Win: It's back for a second year, and we'll be giving away about a hundred board games in Play To Win. In each four-hour time slot, there will be a selection of board games available for anyone to play. (QCGF volunteers are on hand to help teach you how to play, too.) When you play, your name goes into a drawing for that game, and at the end of the time slot the winners are drawn and someone gets to take home that game! Seriously, what's better than free games??
Pathfinder Society: The Quad Cities have a huge PFS community, and there will be a load of PFS happening that weekend.
The Grindhouse Arena: I love the smell of carnage in the morning! A one-of-a-kind, eight player 3D gladiatorial arena of trap-filled, spinning death. It's not a question of whether or not you'll survive (you won't), but how long can you survive in this player-vs-player-vs-player, king of the mountain challenge?
The convention's going to be even bigger and better this year. Anybody else planning to attend?
