The spies fire faster than Maka, putting an arrow in each of their targets. The arrow in Maka barely causes him harm, but the one in Adisakti, causes significant injury. Maka fires his own arrow as he is struck, but his projectile proves less than effective in penetrating the double-knit wool armor of his foe. | |
Taylar holds his arms wide, preparing to meet the charge of the soldiers.
"You have shown us who you are, now show us what you can do!" he remarks to no one in particular. When the soldiers draw close enough he will attack with his baton, manipulating Way to freeze his opponents when he strikes.

Vittero begins to ease backward and to his left hoping to continue to use his bow as long as he can before being forced to switch to melee. He continues to target the priest.
GM: | The three soldiers in the lead, rushing headlong, do not appear to see Vittero. They are focused on Taylar. The priest, however, who has been hurt with a previous arrow, knows that Taylar has an accomplice. The priest swings his right arm up to point two finger directly at Vittero. The other two soldiers look down at the bleeding skull of their comrade, then back at the fallen form of Taylar. They then look to the priest for further commands seeing two arrows sticking from him. | |
Raven Elk sees the spies racing back away from camp. He also sees Maka aiming for the first spy, so Raven Elk charges along the hypotenuse trajectory to close in and attack the second spy.
