Kuhl hesitates. "Who were the archers going to shoot at in such a small room?" he asks. He offers to go in to investigate, but his concern is that someone stay outside to ensure the investigator does not get trapped as well.
As you enter the room, a coldness runs deep within your bones. You see a gleam of red light in the eye sockets of the three skeletons as they animate and attack you!
GM:
Roll for Initiative. If you beat 18 you can act before the skeletons.
Ara watches as the dead bodies get up off the ground and attack Edgar and Kuhl. Hesitating momentarily, he starts to draw his bow and angle for a shot at one of the dead bodies - now skeletons - in the room.

The skeleton will have half cover. +2 to AC. I don't play with "hitting cover" rules except in very specific circumstances, like hostages.
Also, please feel free to roll saves for my monsters. Thank you.
I think purplerook misunderstood when you said roll saves. What CharwomanGene meant was that if you do something that would cause the monsters to require a save you can roll the save for them. Eg casting burning hands our making a grapple or shove
