In 3.5e's Expedition to Undermountain, there is reference made to a NPC who is described as being an "arcanaweave." What is that and where is it from?
The relevant excerpt, from p. 18:

I checked the 3.5e MM3's entry for living spells and there's no mention of "arcanaweave." Is this supposed to be some kind of racial descriptor? How far back into D&D does it go? My Google searching turned up some discussion on Dragonsfoot in 2006 where it seems someone tried a conversion of an "arcanaweave" spell. But where does it come from originally? Since that thread mentioned it as "a spell of The Magister", I checked the old AD&D The Magister by Ed Greenwood, but no mention of "arcanaweave" there.
