Below is a list of the top 50 highest rated DMs Guild adventures. All of these adventures have multiple 5 star ratings and are well reviewed. While I have not read them all, I have read enough to know there is a lot of high quality gameplay in this list, and that people can buy these products with confidence. Together, they represent an enormous variety of stories, locations, goals and encounters.

Great list.

Although I do find it funny that despite the constant cry of some people saying they want more high level adventures... even when people could create and sell them to those people themselves, no one seems to be doing it. Or at least, not doing it with the quality required to actually have them show up on the Top 50 list. 2 adventures, both around 15th level is it.

From my experience with 3.x, 4E, and Pathfinder, high level adventures are simply a harder sell. The higher the level, the smaller the number of groups playing at that level, and those that are are usually invested in an existing long-term campaign.

Some people are producing adventures for higher levels, though neither of mine meet the standard of reviews that MT set for his Top 50. Palace of the Red Pasha for 16th and 17th level is a copper level seller and Vault of the Gods for 9th + level just went up this weekend.

"Copper level seller" is a meaningless term to anybody who doesn't actually sell on DMs Guild, though. Is that 5 copies? 5,000?

Well, copper level is somewhere above 50. Far from being a "best-seller," it does reach a particular audience. I just wanted to point out that there are options for higher level play not being reflected by the list.

To clear up one point, I didn't arbitrarily set any criteria here - I simply used the DMs Guild sort function to generate this list. There are some quirks in the ranking system, which I've asked OBS about. There are, no doubt, some excellent adventures that are not on this list.

Given those caveats, this is still a great collection of adventures!

I'm going to be running The Witch of Underwillow for my wife and another couple as my first DM session (and the wives' first session period) in a few weeks! Can't wait...

I was wondering, how do you do this?

I can only find filters (and not even a filter for ratings) - nothing that allows me to say, for example, show me adventures sorted on best rating first.

(Do note: I'm asking in 2018. This thread is from 2017.)
