Prickly Pear

Adventurer
SnorLoska wiped the last of the tears away from his eyes and spotted the last Idol on the ground. He grabbed it, ran to the alcove and shoved the Idol into its spot. Ouch! Still affected by the gas, SnorLoska scraped his knuckles against the rough surface of the alcove and started to bleed.
Ouch, he said angrily again, but this has to work, he muttered quietly. The last ward should be broken.
SnorLoska turned around and faced the dracolich simulacrum. And You are Next!

OOC: Action: Placing Idol into alcove
Damage: Scraping knuckles: 1D4 = [3] = 3 (un-resistant damage) and thereby maintaining Rage! Please!!!
HP: 62/75

Sesto, with help from Udit, managed to get up again on solid ground. Next, he grabbed hold of the last green crystal in his pocket. With no proper mace in his hand, Sesto moved the shimmering spiritual mace towards the dracilich simulacrum and attacked from above, focusing on the crystal. The crystal popped with a faint sigh.
Sesto's guarding angels flitted around the simulacrum trying to attack it.

OOC: Sesto's action is to climb up again, that's probably all he can manage.
Bonus action: Spiritual Weapon attack and damage (4th lvl) focusing on the last green crystal: 2D20.HIGH(1)+7 = [16, 7]+7 = 23
3D8+4 = [2, 4, 3]+4 = 13

Torbin took Lords advice and moved to find a vantage from which he could strike, preferably giving himself some space from mord or others to allow the freedom to maneuver. Taking aim, he laid down his last hunter's mark fired off a pair of arrows at the simulacrum. Unfortunately, the strangely falling/flying of the creature threw off his aim and both arrows shattered against the walls of the chasm.

Stunned by the unseen blow to the back of his head, Zander visions blacks out for only a moment, but it is still enough time for the whole battle to have changed drastically. When he looks about and the stars in front of his eyes clear the Stonefaces are gone and the group is battle the fake DracoLich. "I.... I... What happened? Did I get knocked silly? Am I seeing things?" his questions flow out quickly, and he takes a deep breath to calm down. <second wind: [roll0] >

Disoriented he looks to the group and wonders what he should do now. The only enemy he can see is the one enemy he doesn't wish to fight. He tucks his shield up under his chin and with a resigned sigh he moves cautiously towards the dragon.

OOC:
Move: to H12
Action: Dodge
Bonus Action: Second Wind

Legend
(PCs) Mord, Sesto, Udit & SnorLoska
(BGs) Dracolich Simulacrum

"Strike while it's vulnerable!" called Mord, and he conjured a cloud of tiny obsidian daggers that flew about the simulacrum's head, stabbing and scratching at the hard bone.

Udit shoved Sesto out of the rift and rolled up-and-over the side himself. Coming to his feet, he took aim at the simulacrum and watched as SnorLoska picked up the idol that was on the ground and rushed toward the niche beside the stage.

The dracolich released Auraia's unconscious form from the grip of its claws and she fell away into the rift, slower than seemed natural. The creature turned on SnorLoska as the half-orc ducked and wove, rolling under as the powerful jaw snapped shut where he had just been. Udit let an arrow fly, but it struck the hard ridge of bone-like stone that ran along the petrified dragon-skull, and it shattered.

The creature lifted out of the rift on skeletal wings and landed, scratching at the half-orc trying to prevent him from getting the idol into the niche. It raked the half-orc's back, but SnorLoska did not slow, instead he shoved the Idol into the niche. Though there was no visible spectacular effect, Pyrus immediately recovered his sense of self.

The simulacrum roared in frustration and was thumped by Sesto's mace to add injury to insult. Sesto's angels flew forward and swung their glowing swords, leaving seared scratches in the simulacrum's petrified bones.

OOC: @tglassy Waiting on all the Genasii to finish the round.

Pyrus shakes off the psychic influence, then looks at the dragon, inciting the dragons bones to burn! (Combustion, 5 psi points, [roll0], plus 1 psi point if the dragon is resistant to bypass resistance. DC 14 Con Save. Half damage on successful save. Catches fire on failed save, taking 1d6 damage at end of every turn. Must use action to douse it.)

Auraia death save: [roll1]

Auraia’s heart gives out, and every Genasi feels it.

Aquaria rushes to the pit, leaping into it without thought, aiming for her sister, tears in her eyes. If she can just grab hold of her...

(Acrobatics check to grab her: [roll0]. Aquaria will attempt to revive her, using Restore Life for 5 psi points. She has to touch her, and it will give Auraia 1 hp. Assuming she is successful, Auraia will then use her turn to guide them both down safely. If not, Terrus will need to catch Aquaria, as she has no way to slow her fall. Speaking of Terrus.)

Terrus focuses, feeling his body stretch and grow, strength filling him. (Ogre Form (2 psi; conc., 1 min.). As a bonus action, you gain 10 temporary hit points. In addition, until your concentration ends, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d4 bludgeoning damage on a hit, and your reach increases by 5 feet. If you’re smaller than Large, you also become Large for the duration. Will wait on his action until I see what happens with Aquaria. If Auraia can help her get down, then he will attack a skeleton with [roll1] for [roll2] + [roll3]. If he has to catch her, Athletics check with Advantage from psychic focus: [roll4] or [roll5]

Torbin's arrows went low and clattered off of the side of the rift, falling into darkness as the dracolich simulacrum rose out of the rift and ravaged SnorLoska. Zander slowly approached the creature, controlling his breathing to remain calm.

As Aquaria leaped off the edge of the rift to rescue her sister, Pyrus combusted an enormous burst of flame around the simulacrum, who roared and shook his bony wings, extinguishing all but the worst of the flames.

GM: No reason I couldn't have found time to resolve that earlier. Gonna get the round done ASAP. Sorry about the wait.

Legend
Location: In the Rift

(PCs) Aquaria, Auraia, Lorenn & Terrus
(BGs) Bhaalite Skeletons

Aquaria leaped into the rift and caught the dying Auraia as she breathed her last. Unwilling to accept her sister's demise, she revived her with psychic energy, leaving them both somewhat drained as they descended into the rift in a controlled downward drop. Unfortunately, they were quickly surrounded in the terrible poisonous mists that permeated the place and Auraia soon lapsed yet again into unconsciousness. Still, down they went until they landed on the bottom in a toxic swamp of thick mud which ate at their flesh.

Terrus grew large and found that he was stepping on the dracolich's wing-bone, which shuffled under his weight. The entire cavern shook with the dragon's minor movement. Rocks fell from the sides of the rift and splashed into the toxic mud. Skeletons crawled up the side of the dragon's mound to protect their master, they stabbed at him with rusty short-swords.

Lorenn danced forward, slashing his rapier at a skeleton, who turned to stab at him, destroying the last of his illusions. He raised a magical shield as another skeleton lunged at him from behind. And its sword slid along the magical energy field.

Yet another of the skeletons moved toward Aquaria and thrust a sword at her, scratching her before she managed to block its second blow with her shield.

GM: Let me know if they have any ways of mitigating any damage.
