Encounter: Shieldmaiden Shiobhan, her two Enforcers and two Dragon Cult Dark Acolytes

Round Four

Siobhan rallied her men with forceful words. One of them came to her aid, stabbing at the stoney-man from behind, while the other blocked the dancing elf's sword and then kicked at the sleeping acolyte, "Raise the Alarm!", he demanded, as the man awoke groggily, and then he turned on the dancing half-elf. Siobhan returned her attention to her two opponents, slamming her shield and stabbing away, refusing to give up the fight.

"No, no, no!" exclaimed Torbin as he held his friend. There was so much blood, Torbin could not find a way to stop it. Kelley's eyes fluttered open, a terrified expression in them, then his body fell limp. For a moment, Torbin was stunned. He had convinced his friend to volunteer for this mission, in spite of Kelley's misgivings, and now the young woodsman was gone. Torbin wiped the blood off of his hands on Kelley's Beast-Boy tunic disguise, then he slowly rose and drew an arrow from his quiver.

GM: Oh-oh. This was not a good round for our heroes. Things sure can change on a dime. Better change 'em back, fast! Go for round FIVE!

Frustrated with yet another miss, and the battle turning against them Mord began to become desperate to finish things before re-inforcements could be called.

"Terrus! Stop the mage!" His voice terse with frustration at the situation before taking aim at the other Acolyte himself in an attempt to interrupt his mission.

OOC: Mord EB attack+dmg:: 1D20+5 = [2]+5 = 7
1D10+3 = [3]+3 = 6


Mord is having a bad day in terms of targeting it seems.

Siobhan smiled as she stabbed the half-orc and he fell back. She turned on the stony-man and was happy to find that the shoe was on the other foot; now her side outnumbered her immediate opponent. Praise the Dragon! If the momentum of the fight continued in her favour she would be praised and rewarded for the effort. She watched as her free enforcer ran down the stairs toward the prison to gather more guards, which would ensure her victory.

Torbin was angry. This was not going well, and he had lost one friend already. He watched as the awakened acolyte rolled out of the way of Lorenn's attack and came to his feet, spraying a cloud of green in the half-elf's face. He fired his arrows at the man, hoping to rescue his other friend from a similar fate to Kelley's.

GM: Oh-oh, this is going very pear-shaped. Let's have a good Round Six, people!
