In brief, 100 (ish) players (either solo, duos, or squads of 3-4) are dropped from a plane on an 8 by 8 km island with nothing. They must loot guns, meds and other equipment from abandoned buildings. Then they fight with whatever they found (I just had a fight tonight where I had nothing and the other guy had a machete, I managed to punch him out with better footwork..)
There is a slowly shrinking circle of poison gas that brings the player together (after 30 min it is completely close), with the final spot being in a different area each game. It's a battle royale essentially.
The game is *very* intense, because you never know when another player may show up.
