    OLD Magic clarification please

    So if I want to add +2d6 to my strength with a spell it takes 8MP (4 per +1d6)...

    Do I need to have a 4 Infuse skill to do this or an 8?

    If I spent 29 MP... LOL, yes I realize I would have to have a MASSIVE Magic score but if I could... could I permanently add +2d6 to my STR?

    I am creating an enemy Archmage for my troupe and he is crazy powerful. they won't meet him for a while.

    Of course as I was going through trying to figure out how he might be prepared for eventualities.... I realized this might be a possibility (he has... as a focused Magic user VERY weak physical stats) and if I can bump some of them (that has the secret for) I'd like to legitimately do it.

    Yup. That's exactly the sort of thing an archmage might do. At least until a rival archmage countered it!

    But does the Arch-mage need a 4 or 8 Infuse skill to get +2d6?

    Ah, for some reason I thought spell MP was compared with MAG /dice/, not the score - that explains why our magi seem so week...
