GM: The canal does carry on the other way only for 30ft or so you can see the wall where it ends. I'm unsure if you guys are opening the door or not?

Legend
After having been so eager to go down the hole it takes Chick a long time to find the nerve once the sound of water is heard. When it is discovered that ot is not water, he relaxes a bit (in spite of it being almost certainly worse than water) and slides down the rope joining the others.

The one wall is covered in a strange carving that looks to be some corn of writing carved into it. The center of the room is dominated by rows of pews, made from the same strange stone as earlier. The back of the room is a set of shelves with some strange things resting on them bound in leather.

GM: There books but giveth reading makes you the devil you may never have seen one or even be able to read it. Don't forget your still technically strangers.

The markings on the wall seem to have a pattern to them with some of the markings repeating almost like words? Yes this is definitely some forms of ancient language.
