Survivor Iconic Greyhawk Characters: THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!

    [h/t Zaardnar]
This thread is inspired by the prior threads on the core classes, the core races, the core alignments, feats, and the lost iconic villains. Also? Thought it would be interesting in light of MM's cryptic campaign setting tweet! Unfortunately, I have to depart shortly on a long vacation (see what I did there) so I'm going to set this one up, and y'all are going to have to see it to its conclusion. I'll try and check in!

IMPORTANT NOTE- DOWNVOTES ARE ONLY WORTH 2 IN THIS THREAD. BECAUSE REASONS, AND THESE CATS ARE TOO ICONIC TO GET KILLED THAT QUICK.

Each character starts with 20 points and you vote for one character you like which gets 1 point and a character you dislike which loses 2 points. It is intentional that a negative vote is worth more than a positive vote- first, hate is more powerful than love, and if you're reading these instructions again, you're ready to come to the dark side, Luke. Did you know I changed it each time? Second, because. Upvotes are in green, downvotes are in in red (unless you are on your phone, and are unable to). Copy and paste the previous posters vote and change the numbers. You may vote once per day. This is an honor system, and we are all honorable gamers; please do not abuse it. If this means you vote once at night one day, and once the next morning - that's fine, but don't vote again until the following day. This is purely a popularity contest and you do not have to explain an upvote or downvote, but feel free to- explanations are where the fun is! When downvotes reach 0 the character is eliminated (FATALITY!). Finally, if a character has one vote left, then you have to make the choice to use all of your downvotes to eliminate it; there is no vote splitting. Also, to clarify- there are no "see votes." You cannot upvote and downvote the same character.

Three important points that you must read before voting-
    1. This is a pure popularity contest, and is meant to be fun. You can cast your votes for whatever reason you want. Spite, irrational love/hate, gameplay mechanics, strategic voting, and so on is perfectly acceptable. You can comment for the reasons for your vote, or not- up to you! But this is for enjoyment only.

    2. This is an inherently subjective list, and I apologize for that. To make it objective, I used the wikipedia list of Greyhawk characters. But yes, there will be omissions, and I omitted a few of the names from that list because I felt they were too marginal, and I apologize in advance for that. But the list is the list, and it's long enough already. Please do not alter it. I also understand that "iconic character" leaves a lot of room for interpretations- heroes, villains, notable NPCs, gods ... just roll with it. I went with the "player characters, not villains, from Greyhawk, with a loose interpretation."

    3. Seriously- I won't be able to fully update this thread while it is running. Y'all play nice!If you are unfamiliar with some of these, start here-https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...awk_characters

Katana Just kidding! Nothing is more iconic than Katana.

Because Gygax did it is still not a good excuse for uber-powerful DM alterego NPCs.

The man who helps me drop acid gets the +1, and DMPCs get shafted.

I voted Mordenkainen because he's smart enough to visit the Forgotten Realms.

    You have to downvote, too.

"Each character starts with 20 points and you vote for one character you like which gets 1 point and a character you dislike which loses 2 points."

"Also, to clarify- there are no "see votes." You cannot upvote and downvote the same character."
