padded leather?

i have a player wishing to purchase padded leather armor for his character.

now i know leather armor, and padded, but is there a padded leather? do the bonuses stack? does the cost stack?

Padded leather was a 1E term for padded armor with soft leather on the outside, basically a leather jacket. Unlike leather armor which is made from oil hardened leather stretched into shape.

Just use padded armor.

EDIT: Sorry, minor error it's a 1E term, not 2E term. In 2E padded and leather armor had the same stats. And was referred to as padded/leather armor. Hence the misconception that it was still a seperate type of armor as in 1E.

Checked the main books, AEG, and OA - couldn't find any refrence to Padded Leather. Sorry, no luck.

Talk to the player, and ask where the info for it can be found. If he can't find it either just ask: is it more like a soft leather outer layer with padding underneath like a leather jacket or motorcycle suit, or is it more of stiff leather plates sewn onto underpadding?

If it's the first, use padded stats, if it's the second, use leather armor stats.
