If we list all the problems in fantasy that could have been solved by therapy (even if just one person listening), or proper communication, there would not be much left. And if we eliminated them, the reading options would be much smaller.
Hmm...Which may be a major reason I like classic Star Trek; much of the good episodes have problems which are solved either by clear communication, or listening to people and helping them with their problems.
