Telekinetic Combat - How does that work?

I recently asked my GM whether or not I could use the Telekinesis enchancment for the Movement Magic skill to make melee attacks at range. Since he can't find any ruling on it in the book, and neither can I, he says he's going to make an exploit for it specifically. That seems like a waste to me.

Does anyone know how Telekinetic combat, by Moving a weapon to attack, would work or if there are official rules on it?

I suppose it depends what you’re doing with it. What sort of melee attack?

If you’re moving the target then telekinesis handles that already.

If you’re damaging it directly, you’re probably looking at an evocation effect - you’re throwing some kind of invisible “force” at him. Or a movement version of the same enhancement.

That’s if I understood the question correctly?

I meant something more along the lines of picking up a melee weapon like a sword or axe, and use a Move spell to have it attack.

I’d treat it as an improvised weapon with a -2d6 penalty.

Sure, if you like. Personally I’d rule it an improvised weapon and charge -2d6, but it’s your game! :)
