I'm working toward a character concept for a dwarf looking to redeem his family name. His ancestors, outraged by what the Ironfangs have done with dwarven relics, have empowered him to bring justice. I'm wondering about 2 different approaches:
Speaker for the Past Shaman, with Stone as his bonded spirit.
Spirit Guide Oracle with the Ancestor mystery.
Both have some flexibility with prepped spells, around a fairly solid core of revelations and spontaneous spells known. I'm trying to treat the Invasion like a comic book origin event, with his abilities coming upon him suddenly, rather than as a result of previous training.
Since my group is new to Pathfinder, I'm hoping for some feedback as to any shortcomings or advantages the concepts might have, other than the CHA penalty for a dwarven oracle. All suggestions are appreciated.
The party will have 5 members, built on 22 points. The only other confirmed character is a Battle Oracle who will immediately multiclass into Barbarian in order to become a Rage Prophet, so not much overlap there.
