20 years ago I would have been sure anti-trust would prevent a merger. Now, not so much, unfortunately. Despite competition from other forms of "entertainment" I still think it kind of dangerous to have physical toys being a virtual monopoly of one company. Especially if limiting children's electronic use eventually becomes a serious thing.
Edit: In this case, I would think the concern with a merger would not be merely price manipulation, since physical toys do have to compete with price with other forms of entertainment. Rather, I wonder whether a single company would bring even less innovation to the physical toy space.
