Aether & Flux: Sailing the Traverse - any good?

Anyone have this? Is it any good?

I just got Airships, and while it's good, the airships are a lot more limited than I like. So I'm looking for another similar book, and I noticed this apparently just came out.

But I can't tell from this book's website if it's more Space 1889ish or Spelljammer-ish.

I picked it up at gencon.

It's very spelljammerish. In fact, discussing with Brian Mosley (the author), they are doing some adaptations for the spelljammer official website, so expect to see it there.

Wasn't a big fan of Space 1889, so I can't compare too much there.

It uses the d20 aerial movement and damage rules almost as is without many of the shortcuts you see in some other vehicle type products.

The one real slick thing about it is the movement temlpates... it makes doing aerial movement using the d20 rules a breeze.

I picked it up at GenCon, and haven't had time to really dig into it. But anything that has that Spelljammer-fresh smell had to belong in my gaming library. :)
