For the people who paint their own minis...

I was just painting figs with a friend, and had a stupid idea that worked really well.

I got a palm sander (small orbital sander, used in woodworking) for Christmas, and decided to see if it would work as a paint-shaker.

I took the sandpaper off (I didn't want to sandpaper the bottles), and held a bottle of partially congealed paint against it. It vibed the bottle like carzy and liquified the paint almost perfectly. Helped me salvage some questionable paint.

So, as stupid as it sounds, yes you can use a hand sander to shake/stir paint.

Anu other odd painting tips out there?
