I've rarely stumbled across so many excellent artists in one place! I would like to make a request of you, if possible. Let me explain what I'm looking for.
I am a programmer. I am making a CRPG with another programmer and a graphic artist. The artist that we have is excellent with backgrounds and imagery, but is lacking ability with humanoids... i.e. player characters.
Would anyone like to contribute? We need 8 or so small scale animated isometric characters (128 pixels height by 64 pixels width) of various races.
The game is isometric (a la Diablo). The potential glory of the game is that it is content driven, not hack n slash. We aim for very deep character development and believable consequences for character actions. The game will be free of charge.
I will gladly send out more details if this generates any interest from you. Of course, your name will be prominent in the credits and you'll have our undying gratitude.
