    Appearance: Rash is a rather tall fellow, fairly easy to pick from the crowd. Always wearing his white and red monk robes. He has short, fine, blond hair, and deep blue eyes.

    Background: Rash grew up in the city, orphaned at an early age. He was quick on his feet, but due to his being orphaned, never got a grand education. At around 12 he saw a training dojo, and from that point on knew exactly what he wanted to be. 12 years later he has finished his basic training," You have learned all I can teach for now, you must go into the world to further your craft" was what his sensei told him. So here he is now, adventuring through towns.

    One day he learned of a diety named Tumblor, the Lawful Neutral god of tumbling. He is a carefree god, but doesn't do anything to harm. "He is to tumble and tumble so shall you" is what this spreader of Tumblor said to the monk. Rash quickly grew to like this diety, and is know a spreader of Tumblor's word. He quests to eventually meet Tumblor, and learn the purest of tumbling.

    Appearance: Munchin stands at a towering 5'4" with a frame that reeks control. He doesn't have giant muslces, however, each of his muscles are finely tuned and respond easily when called upon. His skin is lightly tanned from a season's worth of traveling. He wears a dark grey Monk's uniform, which he recieved a St. Augustine's Monestary.

    Background: Munchin was the prize student and pupil at the Monestary of St. Augustine. At the top of his class in almost every catagory, he was favored to become the pupil of the Grand Master. However, in his last year of study, while at the last feast of the year. Munchin accidently took a great swig of Firewhisky and became quite inebriated. While in this state, he procceded to destroy everything in sight. In his drunken state, he was controlable. To stop his rampage and destruction three teachers had to hold him down. The next day, he was brought before the council and banished from the monestary on pain of death. Since then, he has wandered the lands, in search of a way to restore his honor and regain the respect he once had. However, he has attained an alcohol problem since that incident and always has alcohol on his person

    Appearance: Short and muscularly built. Wearing simple garb and completely clean shaven and bald headed. Small tattoo's on the inside of each wrist with a matching tattoo on the base of his skull. Wearing no armor and no weapons that any can see, he walks slowly but purposefully with a six foot walking stick.

    Background: Shurito was orphaned when a group of maurading orcs raided his small village. His only surviving family member was an elderly uncle who gave him up for adoptioin to a local monastery to be raised as a monk. Schooled in the hot and humid south, Shurito has finally convinced his elders to allow him to return to the world to avenge his parents murder and right injustices wherever he may find them.

    Appearance: Kzorathiel looks like quite any average man, with his long black hair and brown eyes.
    However he has distinct lack of sunlight, judging by the paleness of his skin.

    Background: Kzorathiel was born in a common but zealous family. While every relatives were worshipping Hyrag, the family
    only had a couple of clerics and paladins. Discipline was their most valued attribute. One which, unfortunately
    he did not possess. He lived for a few years with his family, but it quickly became obvious he would one day
    ruin the family's reputation. When his secret fascination of death and arcane power was discovered,
    he was cast out. His mother out of pity contacted one of her former associates, a small-time wizard shopkeeper.
    The wizard accepted to take him as his adoptive son and erase all traces of him once being in the family.
    Years have passed until the wizard learnt of the true fascination of the kid, that is, undeath.
    He did not condemn undeath nor any powers associated to it, which relieved Kzorathiel.
    Quite to the contrary, he passed his knowledge and told countless stories, which he just never had enough.
    When he had paid his debt to the wizard, he decided to leave and acquire stories and knowledge of his own.
    Leaving as he dreamt of arcane power and a chance to live undeath as a vampire

    Appearance: Krindorf is a pleasant view, even for no dwarfs, but all fall a part when he opens his mouth. The typical muttering dwarf, mostly drunk and with the worst humor sense comes to light. Krindorf is an average dwarf, with lots of hair, but he keeps in shape. His blond hair is strange among his people.

    Background:
    Krindorf life was as it is now, hard. Despite his father wishes to turn him a good warrior, Krindorf haven't the discipline needed for such profession. He misses the practices and the combat sessions, and when his angry teacher was coming to get him, he escaped in the shadows. When he became old enough, he leaves his home, in search for something best to do with his time. And that came to be robbery. He joined a bandit gang for some moths, but quickly he saw he was a far more capable than the scum he was living with. So he departed again, searching for new, more challenging adventures, and of course, for filling his pockets.

    Appearance: Piercing grey eyes are the only thing that distinguishes his sun worn face. Landers wears simple traveling garb with a well worn sickle and small mace dangling from his chainmail suit. An intracately carved pendant of small child laying in a basket of wheat distinguishes Landers as a follower of Halina, The Blessed Provider.

    Background: Landers grew up in a farming village a day's ride outside of Covington. After suffering through a horrendous drought which threatened to starve the family out, Landers prayed to the Goddess Halina. His prayers were answered and shortly after the rought ended, Landers received a vision that he was destined to serve the goddess. He served as a lay clergyman in COvington, one of the centers of faith until he recently has shown his elders that he possessed divine gifts. Encouraged by Prefect Arness, Landers has come to the city of Orussus looking to start his adventuring career.

    Appearance: Possum is a small woman, with fair skin and very elven features (including typical elven ears). In fact, she almost seems to be an elven child, in very many ways. She has a very slim frame. Much of her fair skin has been tanned, especially on the bridge of her nose. Possum dresses in "traveling clothes", and seems more a rogue than a cleric, despite the holy symbol of Uncle Spider hung around her neck. This holy symbol, a silver coin with an imprint of a spider in the middle, hangs from a braided leather cord, and is about the same size as Possum's thumb.

    Personality: Possum is a traveler, and she is very interested in the world around her. She has an interest in learning other people's stories, and, much like her patron, tries to impart moral lessons on those "deserving" of it when able. She does not like violence, but is not afraid of it. In fact, very little scares the halfling woman. She is always alert, and is almost never surprised by what she comes across in her travels.

    Background: Possum is a traveler, eager to see the world around her. She grew up in a nomadic halfling clan, which she still maintains connections to.

    Apperance: Dorrin is a slightly older looking human male. He has grey/silver hair with brown eyes. He is very self conscious about his abnormal hair. There is almost always stubble on his face, although he doesn't let it grow into a beard. He is about average for his height and weight. He normally dresses in traveling clothes, although he will pull out his clerical vestments if he needs to. His holy symbol of six linked silver dice was won from a superior in a game of cards and is worn under his shirt. His longsword is sheathed on his back, with his crossbow hanging off his belt.

    Personality: Dorrin is a very cheerful guy unless you decide to make fun of his hair. That will make him extremely unfriendly, as it has proven to be a source for endless jokes. He is always looking for the bright side of the coin, and will try to keep things lighthearted in the worst of times. He has a insatiable love of gambling, which has given him more problems than he can think of.

    Background: Dorrin came from a small city where he grew up on the streets. He can barely remember his mother, although he does know that his father gave him the "gift" of his silver hair. He wandered the streets usually picked on by the other beggar children for his "cursed" silver hair. In fact, during one of these episodes, a older man walked by. When the bigger kids began to scatter, the man told them that his problem wasn't with the taunting, it was that it should be one on one. One of the bigger kids then started a fight with the younger Dorrin, and somehow, Dorrin managed to hurt the older boy enough that he ran away. Then the man took the young boy to an orphanage and paid enough for him to be well taken care of. The priest left.

    18 years later, Dorrin had grown up in the orphanage and been apprenticed to a tanner for several years. Not a wonderful life, but the best an orphan could hope for. Plagued by feelings that life held more to it, Dorrin began starting trouble with other young adults. When he realized his true anger was at the man who so long ago didn't help, he spent many nights looking for that priest that set him up in the orphanage. Eventually he found him and full of anger, asked him why the man had let those bigger boys beat attack him and didn't stop it.

    The man replied that only through adversity can a person truly find out who they are. Even though Dorrin was the smaller boy, he had the power in him to help defeat great odds. The man then introduced himself as Tarcel, a priest of Grendath. He offered to teach Dorrin to harness his feelings and focus it in a way to help others overcome their own tribulations.

    Brief Background

    Most Elves, especially the Gray Elves, have the extraordinary privilege of being pretty much born with fair countenances, voices like nightingales, commanding intellects, and long-lived lives, in which these great spirits generally proceed to further develop these regal bearings to even greater heights.

    Not so in the case of Jamilee Valhaeris, a lateborn daughter of the House Valhaeris, who even as a child was as plain-looking as a peasant's daughter, and explicitly not the kind of pure-hearted, common but fair peasant girl the heroes in the stories tend to have romantic interludes with. She was her father Soheil's great disappointment, and his greater disappointment when she grew up. Like most ruthlessly pragmatic nobles who find themselves gifted with a daughter, he'd intended to marry her off to an allied house or treaty partner as soon as possible; and, Nature being what it is, ugly brides aren't in much demand.

    You might object, and say that Jamilee is getting a raw deal here. Surely physical beauty isn't everything, and surely her personality must've counted for something. You'd be right to ask, except that she didn't exactly have a beautiful personality either. "Headstrong" and "impetuous" do not even begin to cover it; pretty much as soon as she caught wind of her father's lacking love for her, and learned to speak, she made it her mission in life to do and say pretty much the opposite of whatever she was told to do. Her family want her to be a refined young lady; so she'd get into scraps at every opportunity. Growing up, she was taught the rudiments of magic; she took every opportunity to shirk her lessons and loaf about the House's smithies instead.

    When she came of age, she made a beeline for one of the toughest, most common, dirty and violent vocations Rivenblight has on offer, and joined the City Watch. Her father instantly disowned her. At the time, she didn't care one whit. For three decades, she was as content as she could be; she learned how to fight for keeps, expanded greatly on the smithing tricks and skills she picked up in her youth, and most importantly, fell in with a splinter sect of Gliranites calling themselves the Path of Razors - mostly made up of disillusioned youth and a few slightly psychopathic souls, partially influenced by Arrhim's Tractatus of Peace; they believe that even if Arrhim's going way overboard with his philosophy of the strong's necessary dominion over the weak, he has correctly hit upon the idea that the "strength" it refers to is never a bad thing to have, and acquiring it is a worthy life goal in and of itself.

    Ironically, these teachings roused her interest in studying magic again, the very thing she absolutely detested doing in her youth. Indulging that interest had to wait for a while, because absolutely no one in her home town would tutor her; either they weren't going to do so to begin with, or they were now reluctant to teach someone who had very obviously and very definitely fallen out of favor with one of the major families in the city. Her mounting frustration over this, limited prospects in the Watch, and a near-death incident while on duty which involved a slashed throat and a fall down several dozen yards of sheer cliff finally made her quit, and use her severance pay to finance a trip to Orussus; she reckoned that many humans, while not the most lofty creatures about, still have the drive to them that the Path predicts would lead them to great heights, discover deeply arcane secrets, and not leastly lead them to ignore such trivialities as a prospective apprentice's light purse and poor political status.

    Rooting about the underside of Orussus, she more or less stumbled across a necromancer named Marcus Venn. She found the bald, short, stocky, man somewhat distasteful, but undeniably talented in the Art, less crazed than most stories make necromancers out to be, and willing to give her a lot of leeway. He, on his part, found her eager to learn, roughly as antisocial and untalkative as himself, and therefore a perfect fit for someone to spend more than a few hours with; most importantly, she was not so squeamish as to refuse to do the more exhausting, grisly, unclean, or otherwise undesireable chores involved with the job, like scrubbing floors(*), donating the occasional pint of blood, or grave-robbing.

    Their bargain has held up. So far.

    (*: You might think this is not a particularly unpleasant duty, but just try to imagine what kind of litter a death-obsessed pseudo-scholar might leave around his workbench.)

    Appearance: Jamilee is a bit small even for a Grey Elf, with an average build. She wears loose, flowing silks in off-white and grey over a simple but well-made chain shirt. Her good taste and appearance seem to end just about there, because pale silvery hair is perpetually greasy and tangled, usually done up in a messy braid; her face and the visible skin on her forearms is impressively scarred, to the point where one of her ears is just about gone, and she seems to be snarling all of the time - a particularly nasty scar over the corner of her mouth keeps it pulled up.

    Personality sketch: Jamilee's aloofness, sarcastic and haughty demeanor, cutting remarks, grating voice, as well as her gung-ho attitude towards all things martial doesn't win her friends very easily, although once you're past that, she can be as fiercely loyal as she is generally fierce.

    Appearance: Jace has brown hair that hangs down to cover his forehead and ears, though his blue eyes are obvious. Freckles dot his arms and cheeks. During the day, his cloak is open to the sunlight and the people. He greets everyone with a warm smile and eye-contact. During the night, his cloak is closed and the hood pulled up to hide his face. Generally, Jace only wears his gauntlets at night, or when he expects a fight. Jace is usualy seen with his staff in hand.
    Background:
    Jace adventures to reach people. He figures that churches and temples are set up in towns and cities to help the locals and travelers, so his best approach is to reach those who are not near such places.
    Jace chose his career to impact the world, literally. Jace favors quick, blunt solutions, as demonstrated by his chosen domains. He's done a lot of traveling in his youth, learning from the various temples he's visited. Though Jace never found a patron among the pantheons, he's learned enough to be the equal of many of the acolytes.
    He's accumulated his gear over time, picking up items that he thought might be useful, and discarding anything that would be too cumbersome. Jace carved his quarterstaff from an oak limb, and has been carving in 'pearls of wisdom' as he finds them. Currently the staff has three lines: "The Fire Cleanses" & "From Destruction Comes A New Begining" & "The ash nurtures the earth." Jace carries many flasks of oil and a tindertwig "in case I get in over my head."
    The worst thing that Jace ever experienced was his time as a child lost in the woods during a cold winter. After a day on his own, he was found by his parents and brought home to a warm bed. He's carried a winter blanket everywhere with him since.
    His happiest memory is the casting of his first orison, a light spell that lasted a full ten minutes before fading out.
    Jace doesn't really stay in touch with his family.
