    Appearance: Dane Stands tall, for a human and usually bears grime or dirt on his face, either from work or travel. His hands are rough and leathery from a hard life, but under it all he is relatively handsome. These days he is almost always seen wearing his scale mail, with simple clothing underneath and the symbol of the Pouring Cauldron in full view. He keeps his head shaved bald, an act of discipline as well as a practical act when dealing with fire, but also keeps a small neatly trimmed beard.

    Background: Born in Ignussus, Dane's mother died during child birth and his father died in a street fight when he was still quite young. He lived on the streets for a short time, living off the generosity of the local clergy, but was eventually taken in by a local dwarven blacksmith. Dane doesn't know why Daren Grimnose took pity on him then, especially in such a city, but none the less Dane was able to learn a trade, and eat regularly. He even gained a sense of community amongst the Dwarves, earning the nickname Firebuilder, which he occasionally uses in place of a surname. Apprenticed to the smith he also saw firsthand the evils of the Curved Blades of Arcton, and eventually provided them directly with weapons and armor for years. It was a torturous act but seemed a necessary one. The Blacksmith's worshiped the fire god in an almost superstitious way, and Dane had opportunities to deal with clergy fairly regularly. He learned what he could, when he could, and eventually some of the priests learned of Dane's good heart and distaste for the Blades. The gave him additional training and when he seemed ready sent Dane out, and away from the city to try to develop his skills further in the hopes that some day he might return with the manpower and abilities to overthrow the guild and bring Law back to the people of Ignussus.

    Appearance:
    To those accustomed to the society of smaller races, Ngikhnit’s most obvious feature is his imposing stature. Those who encounter him while prepped for battle may find his bellicosity off-putting – even his allies, while grateful for his services, may be a little uncomfortable at how much he seems to enjoy hurting and killing – but in other contexts, he can be quite polite and friendly.


    Background: Ngikhnit is the offspring of an ogre who, for various reasons not always well understood, lived among humans and married a human woman. When he was a boy his father decided that the effete ways of human society were unfit for proud ogre-blooded youths, and took the family away to live in the wild. Ngikhnit has had enough exposure to civilized society to function in social settings, but is most comfortable when his wild and uncouth nature can be expressed uninhibited.

    Appearance: Vedry stands just over four feet tall, with a shaved head revealing a light gray skin tone and several large scars on the left side of his head and ear. Bright blue eyes twinkle from beneath long bushy red eybrows. A large bulbous nose sits above a thick crimson moustache that nearly touches the top of his chest. A long chin beard separated into two tails kept in place by stone beads hangs from his chin.

    Vedry wears a dark blue cloak over grey studded leather armor, likely made from the skin of an animal uncommon to the eyes of a surface dweller.

    Background: Vedry was serving in his local militia as a scout/search and rescue operative. Stationed near the edge of his kingdom's territory he learned the underground equivalent to the skills taught to surface dwelling rangers.

    While stationed at the outpost, one of Vedry's regular assignments was to monitor the movements of a nearby goblin tribe who had signed a peace treaty with the Dwarven kindom. During his rounds, Vedry heard screaming and the chaos of battle. When he drew close to the tribe's location he found bodies and destruction littering the floor of the caverns. As he investigated the shadows grew dark and he became paralyzed with fear.

    The next memory Vedry has is waking up in a pool of blood from the deep wound to his head. He quickly bandaged himself and returned to the outpost for further medical attention. He found the outpost destroyed, likely by the same creature that attacked him. Vedry thinks the outpost destruction was his fault for not being able to alert his friends in time. Too ashamed to return to his kingdom, he has made his way to the surface and is currently searching for a way to redeem himself.

    Appearance: Christopher's body is covered in medium brown fur. He has black spots similar to a cheetah. He has an impressive black mane which is now peppered with white hair. Normally, the mane is kept in a single tight braid. There are tufts of longer black hair around his wrists and ankles.

    His eyes are an impressive shade of black, and no difference can be made out between the iris and pupil. His clothes are always meticulously clean and fashionable.

    Background: Christopher's wife has recently died of a sudden and quickly progressing disease. Christopher has left most of his possessions in the care of his clan, and left to wonder the world. This is to both satisfy his natural curiosity and to escape the absence of his wife. He and his wife had a single daughter, Lira Greeneyes, whose talents and training was as a bard. He has not heard from her in several years. The last he knew of her, she had been traveling to Orussus.

    A family legend states that they have a fey ancestor. He accepts this as truth and as the source of both his own and his daughter's arcane powers. Regardless if it is true or not, he and his birth clan have maintained
    good relationships with the nearby fey.

    Christopher does not have any immediate plans. He has left his home to escape the painful memories of his wife's death, but he retains his race's curiosity and his own unique sense of humor. He is willing to go

    Appearance:
    A young looking girl with long ears that point out from her flowing hair. She always appears to be smiling, and nods whenever spoken to. While her clothing may always seem tidy, her own personality requires a bit of cleaning up. With a bright soprano voice, she rambles on absent-mindedly upon matters she believes are true, but otherwise is rather childish and naive for an elf. She appears to bounce when she walks, and seems to gently float around the field of combat.

    Background: The daughter of eldritch wizards, Elianna had lead a simple life in Rivenblight, her ancestral home. Though all of the adults spoke of Rivenblight in hushed tones, Elianna didn't seem to notice what was so off about it. Her clan, House Aelylth, had been almost wiped out by the cataclysm that struck Beryl. Had they not sacrificed themselves, their powerful magic would not have helped cut down the casualties to a minimum. Her own parents were reluctant to tell her of the event, Elianna figuring that she just had a small family to begin with.

    As one of the heirs to House Aelylth, Elianna was tasked to utilize her training as a Diviner to gain a secular experience, and to return to the family after obtaining enlightenment.
