Don't forget Hawk the Slayer, with the original elf shooting arrows at blinding speed. Jack Palance as the villian.

Did anyone mention Legend as a good Movie?

I thought parts of Legend were good. And I thought it had more good parts than bad parts.

Mang, if you're going to put Mononoke and CTHD on the list, you absolutely must catch _Hero_ ASAP.

Hero sounds like a good movie. I hope it is released in America so I can see it in a theater.

Good lists, I only have one to add.....Hercules starring Lou Ferrigno! It is such awful camp with awful dialogue, silly costumes, sillier monsters, and very bad acting that it is actually a very fun film to watch. The only film I'd put in the same league with this is the Batman film made back in the 1960's with Adam West and Burt Ward. (Note: When looking for this Hercules film make sure you get the first one and not the sequel - it had a higher budget and was more serious and not nearly as much fun.)
