Background (Out of Character)
Basically, this concept relies heavily on being a non-traditional monk. The low wisdom denotes a lack of a number of the Monk's primary abilities, but this isn't a monastic and wise monk, this is more of a rough martial artist raised on his own terms. In order to get that concept to come through while using the Monk base class, I added armor (losing any speed increases and flurry of blows) and lack any wisdom necessary to pull off certain techniques. I also decided to opt away from the normal lawful alignment to represent where this characters motives really are. He'd rather be free from any structures, doing whatever he can to help people that come from weak and meager. He does, however, have certain lawful tendencies like an extremely strict personal code of ethics in concern to how he should fight and live life.

Also, this concept uses something that's damn near impossible to do with the mechanics of the game, and that's outlasting your opponent until they make a mistake. Really, this character doesn't do a very good job of it, despite my attempts, but it does have the interpretation down. The only mechanical way I could get this to come out was through AC, by deflecting/dodging/absorbing all of your opponents strikes until he makes an error and leaves an opening (which almost never happens). His AC so-far seems to only go as high as 25 versus a single opponent, and that's with a -6 to all attacks.

Background: (tenative)
Born into the small Wolfrider clan, Aerik was the last to come from his mother as she died during his troublesome birth. His father was never the same without her and saw his youngest son as the cause of the loss of his life mate. This attitude and subsequeant withdrawel from his son caused Aerick to depend on himself for all his needs. As he grew he became more withdrawn from the tribe with few friends to call his own and no family to support him. It was during his Rite to Manhood that he discovered his true self: As he was alone in the mountains close to starvation (his tribe believed only those worthy of survival and acceptance would be able to withstand 2 weeks alone with only ones wits and survival instincts should be allowed to be accepted as a full member of the tribe....possibly resulting in such a small clan), he was visited by his totem animal; the Grizzley Bear. This spiritual vision helped him with finding shelter and by taping into his spirit, to kill prey to get the needed food for survival. When he returned to his tribe he discovered another use for his spirit...that of the Berserk. This ability lead him to the forfront of fighting for his people against those who would take from them.
After several years of this lifestyle, Aerick was bored. He wanted to see more then his ancestrial lands and wondered what was beyond. Leaving his people behind he traveled down to the civilized lands and saw the great cities. These places still serve as a place of confusion, where people stay huddled in fear of their neihbors, and feel that symbols scratched down on paper is more important then a mans deeds and word. It seems only those who are termed "adventurers" understand that there is more to life then remaining behind walls waiting for death to take them, and for that reason Aerick proudly journies with them, using the spirit given to him by his Totem to the fullest.

Description:
Aerick stands a good 6'2", broad of shoulders wearing dark colored clothes with weapons always at hand. He always looks at civilized man with contempt and pity for their lack of understanding of how life should be lived. He is only comfortable with others who live life on the edge. His black eyes take in all around with no detail left unnoticed.

Appearance:
Bright blue eyes in a pale attractive face crowned by short raven-black hair cut in the latest fashion.
Dekiran is young, a fact made more obvious by his slight build and his boyish good looks. In spite of his age he carries himself as an adult, with an easy confidence sometimes bordering on arrogance. He's been trained in the ancient traditions of his House and he tries his best to always appear as what he is, a noble. His clothing, in the black, midnight blue and gold of House Tovaal, is well tailored and the clasp of his cloak proudly presents his personal symbol, a black Onyx disc centered on a circular field of Gold.


Background:
House Tovaal was once one of the greatest in Taleas, famed for its wealth, military power and the strong magic of its bloodline. Once, centuries ago, it's power grew too great and the King grew to fear that power. In the resulting struggle the House was cast down, its assets scatterd and it's children exiled or killed. Only a remnant survived to keep the tradition living, a remnamt that slowly scattered and died until only one man survived. And now Dekiran Tovaal, 43rd Lord of House Tovaal, has returned to Taleas to redeem his House in the eyes of the King.

Ariane is a small and skinny woman, looking like a charming little girl. She has a beautiful face with large green eyes, a fair pale skin and long curly black hair hanging down her back. Dressed in simple clothing, a backpack and a crossbow hang on her back, the backpack hardly containing much. Two necklaces hang down her neck, one containing a small amulet and another containing a gem.

When Ariane was born, she was so small, lightweighted and weak that her mother feared for her life. Although she did live, Ariane always was very small and very weak kid. It didn't take long before children her own age started to ignore her, being too weak and fatigued too soon to be able to join their games. Yet she always kept trying to make friends with others.

It wasn't until much later in her life, when her disorder made her still look like a small kid, that things started changing. Of course by then there were other things in life than just play, but that wasn't just all of it. Somehow, if Ariane really wanted for someone to act as a good friend, that person would. Too frail to do much physical work, Ariane trained with her mind a lot and after some time, she managed to focus her ability to make friends. Not only did she focus them, she also discovered other things she could do. Somehow she was able to receive tiny bits of info about stuff she shouldn't be able to know about. At long last she discovered that she was special, and that perhaps her weak body offsetted her strong mind, actually being a blessing.

Backround: Darin was born of a poor family in the hills outside a small hamlet town his parents gave him up after they didnt have the money to feed him.
They left him in the middle of a forest road.
Darin almost died of poor clothing in the cold of the outdoors and of hunger when he was saved from certain death from a wondering bard who took him in as his child and taught him the ways of the bard. The ways of poetry and song.
Although he became learned in the ways of poetry and song he became some what of a ladies man and spent most of his teenage years flirting with women.
This used to get him into alot of trouble with people around town becuase alot of the time he failed to consider whether they were seeing anyone or not...
feeling rejected he took the adventurers path to become a hopfully respectable man although his tendancies to chase women and pursuing romance are still a problem for him,
