Honestly, I think the oddest thing about this is the 7 days. Should be longer I think. Unless that marital bliss really only lasts a week. Of course if it were longer, the +2 would be a bit strong.
I am certainly not going to stop some players from getting this buff if their characters marry, but considering my group, I find it highly unlikely.

Not only would I marry a party member for +2 AC, I'd kill him/her after 7 days and marry another one. Wash, rinse, repeat.
