Damn. That is some nice set-up. It ties so nicely to the goblin origin in the prequel book. I’m always impressed by the tight plotting of OotS.

Part of me really applauds the wonderful world building and the tying together of multiple story threads.
Part of me is saying, "When you go that big, you don't make the problem seem more epic; you make it seem less."
I have a suspicion though now about where things are going, and I think it is going to make up for my disappointment with shrinking his scale by making the problem bigger.
