Uhhh. Yes! Sorry, I didn't realize from your post. Roll those touch attacks! But you probably won't kill him, so we'll move on down the line . . .
OoC:Ack, rolled a '5', I doubt I hit anything... 11 total. Charge removed.

Gwystyl fires a ray of flame towards the captain, but his aim is off because of his haste to help his comrades on the pirate ship. The bolt of flame flies harmlessly over the head of the captain.

But the captain is far from safe. Norbac lumbers to the other side of the mast, his footsteps sounding like the beating of a huge drum as he walks across the deck. He drops his mace to the ground and lunges with his great spear, catching the half-orc in the belly and ripping flesh as Norbac pulls the spear out. The captain uses one hand to try to staunch the wound as an expression of hopelessness crosses his face . . .

Silently thanking whoever it was that took down his wounded opponent, Sarloss turns his attention to his two remaining foes. Again he lashes out with both swords, attacking one of his two remaining enemies.

Bribben and Kiya both continue to focus on thier quary. Once again Bribben takes a 5' step so that he can throw his spear at the wounded foe.

OOC:
If the pirates in front of Bribben go down this round, then he will refocus his efforts towards theones attacking Sarloss on the pirate ship.

OoC - I'm rolling unless I see something posted. Hope that's OK.

Bribben hurls his spear at one of the remaining orcs. The spear thrusts through his chest, surely hitting vital organs. Bribben thinks the orc surely must be dead, but except for a brief grimace the orc's rage drives it forward. (crit, 16 points of damage) Kiya trips to trip one of the orcs, darting her snout towards its ankle, but she misses.

Saarloss slashes with two swords at pirate4. The pirate desperately parries with his scimitar, but is unable to stop the whirling dervish attacking him. One of the blades cuts through his guard, slashing the pirates face and adding to his collection of scars. (hit, 7 points of damage)

The two orcs facing Bribben both swing their huge axes. Forsaking any thought of defense, they both scream savage war cries and stride forward. Adding the momentum of their short movement to their axes, they swing. Bribben, momentarily empty-handed, dodges to the left, hopeing that his small size will again cause the orcs to miss. But this time, one of the orcs swings straight down, catching Bribben across the back as he dodges. The other, his face turning greenish-white as only his rage keeps him from falling unconscious to the deck, swings in a low arc, barely missing the mast. His axe bites into Bribben's leg just above the knew. (total of 22 hp)

The two pirates facing Saarloss grow more and more concerned their comrades fall around them. Seening the giant half-orc suddenly spear their captain, they quickly abandon hope.

"Mercy, sir. Mercy," they cry. "These orcs made us to fight. We didna want to."

The two orcs next to these look confused, however, and rush into the fray. They rush at Saarloss, one with a battle-axe, the other with a scimitar. Saarloss easily parries the axe, but the one bearing a scimitar ducks under one of Saarloss's swords, then slashes with the scimitar. Saarloss dances to the side, leaning as far as he can without falling in a vain attempt to duck the blade, but he cannot lean far enough. He feels the sharp edge cutting through his arm, leaving a thin trace of blood (5 hp)

The ogre continues swinging his great axe at the lines within reach. He slashes through several with one swing, and one more snaps as the momentum of the two ships pressures it in two directions at once.

The pirate captain scowls. Even the weak female proved too powerful for his magic, and now he can feel his life-force oozing through his fingers. His command is in shatters, most either dead, dieing, or surrendered. He has spent enough time with these fools. He runs to the back of the ship, and jumps into the sea. Feallne, high up in the crow's nest, can't be sure, but soon after he hit the water, the captain grew the tail of a giant Yellowtail, and the dark-tinged orcish features turned suddenly Elfin. But the ocean spray and the tricks water can play make him question what his eyes have seen.

The two pirates facing Rowena both attack. One, seeing that the paladin is concentrating on something other than the fight, grins and raises his axe over his head. He misjudges, however, and gets the axe-head entangles with the rear deck. Not knowing that his axe is outside his control, he tries to bring it down in a killing blow. The force of his would-be swing only rips his hands from the shaft. His bare hands slash down, his sudden quick movements unbalancing him as the axe shaft then falls on his head. He blinks his eyes comically as the axe clatters on the ground.

The other pirate, a wiry, bald-headed old man, has seen enough. He drops his scimitar and backs from the combat.
OoC - Pirates are done.
