    Ritual Caster Spell Lists

Don't really know if any of you would be interested, but since I was compiling the lists for myself, I thought I'd go ahead and share. These are (I think) all the ritual spells in the Player's Handbook. I don't have any of the other books yet. So if they have more that you'd like to share, please do so.

Unsurprisingly, wizard probably has the best list. But if you already have a wizard in the party, cleric, druid, and even bard aren't that bad. However, since you can only learn new ritual spells for your book from a written source, that means scrolls or wizard spellbooks. So it is probably much easier, quicker, and cheaper to fill your ritual book from the wizard list rather than any other.

I'd rate Meld into Stone higher. As long as stone wall is nearby (which is most dungeons) the caster can rest without fear of ambush.

Yeah, but I'd have to ditch the rest of the party to do it.

Identify isn't quite as vital as it was in some of the earlier editions... Magic items aren't locked behind an "Identify Wall" any more.

In 5E, anyone can identify a magic item just by spending a short rest (1 hour) focusing on it. (4E was the same way.) Though an Identify Ritual is 49 minutes faster than spending a Short Rest to identify a magic item, so I guess that could come in handy if you were pressed for time.

An Identify Ritual could also still be useful for other situations, like when identifying other types of magic objects like magic doors, magic statues, etc. And it can also be used to identify which spells are currently affecting a creature, which could be helpful when trying to help a cursed NPC or the like.
