2000AD [2000AD] Looking for character creating rules clarification.

When it says "Note all the listed species exploits" Does that mean to write it down in the character sheet? Can we only use it certain times?

Also it says "Note that you may optionally substitute either one of your species attributes" So if you are making a gorilla hitman character you would add EITHER +2 strength from species OR +1 strength from the hitman career but not both. Correct?

It means write it down, yep.

The exploit itself will tell you about any usage restrictions, if there are any.

Hmm. Where does it say that? That looks like a minor errata.

Page 18 under CHARACTER CREATION WALKTHROUGH

Step 4.1
"Apply all of the listed attribute adjustments. Note that you may optionally substitute either one of your species attributes or your hook attributefor one of the listed attributes."

So I read this as you choose which attribute you can use but you cant use both.
