(I know this is technically a video game but this game will have a seismic impact on bringing new players to the tabletop + affect how the IP is perceived in the mainstream and wider RPG culture so it's relevant especially after the divisive 5th ed release of OWOD Vampire)

I'm still watching the reveal stream.
But did I see that date right? March 2020? A year out is quite a long time away.

I wonder about a videogame of Mage: the awakening. I guess we will not see videogames of Hunter: the reckoning until the 5th Ed.

I suggest for that game a module to create your own adventures and missions.

You are joking right?

...waiting for Cyberpunk 2077 (first announced in 2012).

If this isn't delay I'll be amazed, that wasn't even a game footage trailer.

According to interviews with the developers, this seems to have only the most tangential relationship to the tabletop IP. The "ability trees" are structured completely differently: "chiropteran" involves levitation, "mentalism" involves telekinesis, and "nebulation" involves becoming mist. You start as a "thinblood" and join a "clan" later. There's a "resonance" system in which drinking certain types of blood provide specific buffs.

I don't think this is bad, but I imagine that tabletop purists won't like it.
