Look at the story of the Niagara Falls Mummies.
I hope this link works. Great story of a museum, a couple of eccentrics, a few mummies, and other stuff. Nat'l Enquirer couldn't do it better.
Thinking of using it as a base for a d20 Ghostbusters one-shot.
Please don't squeeze the Shaman!
Here's another question: is it all loincloths, boots, and harnesses on the planet Jupiter? Because personally, if I ever make it to outer space, I am going to start dressing like He-Man. Otherplanetary derring-do just isn't the same if you have to wear pants and a shirt and such.

Thanks for this Clay. Informative as ever. If you take requests, try doing medieval accounts of dog-headed men (most famously Saint Christopher) next week.
“one must depart from the province of Lean-tong, north of Peking and that after travelling 12,000 li, the traveller would reach Japan, and thence to the north, after a journey of 7000 li, arrive at the country of Wen-Schin (the painted people). Five thousand li from this country towards the east is Tahan, which is 20,000 li from Fusang.”
-- A 6th century account of Fusang, the country across the Pacific from China.
