[Draconomicon] Tell me about the dragonslayers

Anyone care to tell me about the dragonslayer prestige class?

I believe it's the same class as was found in Dragon 296.

I don't have Dragon 286 handy, and it's time for Smallville, so I'm afraid I can't confirm or deny Nightfall's belief.

However, the Draconomicon dragonslayer has these features:

* prereqs: BAB +5, Dodge, Iron WIll, 2 ranks in Tumble
* d10 HD
* 2 skill points/level
* 10 levels
* good BAB, Fort save, Will save
* +1 caster level every other level (it says this adds to whatever spellcasting class the dragonslayer had before, yet no spellcasting ability is given in the requirements. Oops!)
*special abilities include aura of courage, damage bonus vs. dragons, DR, energy resistance, etc.

Interesting.

Another poster suggested the seeming error with the spellcasting was intentional --- that this is a prestige class which could be useful to members of any class.

That guy who plays Lex is great, isn't he?
