Changing Monk Ki Strike

I'm having different "Monks" IMC pretty much like the Unearthed Arcana preview (with some minor feat changes or abilities)

Do you think it would hurt much to change "Ki Strike (Lawful)" to "Ki Strike (Good)" for one of the Monasteries (of course the Monk would have to be LG)???

It would be perfectly acceptable and balanced, along with adding flavor, ALTHOUGH, it can be harmful to the player because how often do good parties REALLY fight other good beings? It happens, but not often.....

Ki Strike (Good) would allow him to damage creatures with DR x/Good unless I'm mistaken (like some fiends).
Or am I wrong and I'm just making a silly monk?

You're right, and I think it's not a bad change. I would say ki strike (good) is 'better' for your average adventurer than ki strike (lawful), but not overwhelmingly so.
