Alternate Treasure Rules

Here's an alternate treasure system I'm using in my current game to simplify massive hoards etc. I thought the handouts were too weak, but the PCs aren't complaining (to me, anyway) about the rate at which they're getting treasure, so I guess it's OK. What do you guys think?

CR
1-5: CRx5 gp
6-10: CRx5 gp, plus 60% chance of an item
11-15: CRx5 gp and 1 item, plus 60% chance of another item
16-20: CRx5 gp and 2 items, plus 60% chance of another item
21+: CRx5 gp and 3 items, plus 60% chance of another item per 5 CRs

Item Types
1: Gem
2: Mundane item
3: Artwork
4: Minor magic item (at CR 6, medium and at CR 10, major) - see below for type

Magic Item Type
1: Armor
2: Weapon
3: Scroll
4: Potion
5: Wand
6: Ring
7: Wondrous Item
8: Reroll
