I hate hate hate this day soooo much. Inane jokes, disruption of normal patterns... bleh. Just thought I'd share...

You aren't alone. I also loath this day...mainly because it seems like being the Geek means you end up getting more abuse than usual.

My boss told me I was off today/tomorrow (April 1st) so I have no issues with the day... If he calls me in the morning then that will be a different story.

There are many fun, harmless jokes people play. EN World always does some funny news bits for instance. It's just many people don't know the difference between funny and mean.

I too, dislike April 1st, and all the marginally funny fake news stories that are put up on the main page--at least have a link to the real stuff! Please?
