A death in the Babylon 5 family

According to this post on JMS' forums--http://www.jmsnews.com/msg.aspx?id=1-17099 --Richard Biggs (Dr. Franklin) passed away today.

Not that they'll see it here, but my deepest sympathies to his family.

Are there any more confirmation on the internet? I've been trying to find any story regarding this sad news.

I haven't seen anything else, and I guess it's possible it's a mistake or a misunderstanding. But given that it is JMS' newsboard, and that it happened in the afternoon on a weekend, it's possible the news sites just haven't picked up on it yet.

It would be nice if it does turn out to be a mistake. But I'm afraid I don't think it is.

That's very sad news. He did a great job on the show, and I was hoping he'd have a good, long career ahead of him. He'll be missed.

I'm saddened to hear this. I really enjoyed B5 and he did a fine job on it. He'll be missed.
