*stats are for a full-grown dragon. Wyrmling-juvenile dragon lords are treated as Aasimars. Young adult dragon lords are treated as half-celestials. Adult dragon lords have completed the first and second stages of their growth and are considered full grown dragon lords.

This creature looks like a colossal seven-headed dragon with scales like polished hematite and eyes like molten gold. Strangely enough, it’s overall appearance reminds you more of a silver dragon than any chromatic dragon you have ever seen. A dragon lord carries the scent of new fallen rain and myrrh. Dragon-lords are typically around 70-100ft long and correspondingly tall. They weigh in and around 100-200 tons.

Legends claim that the dragon lords were Tiamat’s first and only attempt to create spies which could easily infiltrate the metallic dragon society and the material plane. This plan was a bit too successful. Regardless of their origin, dragon lords are noble, regal and have an intense hatred of demons, devils and evil in general.

Unlike most dragons, dragon lords typically give birth to live young. In fact, a dragon lord typically does not begin to exhibit draconian tendencies until around age 30. At that time, they learn how to shift their shapes and begin to learn about their true heritage. Young dragon lords typically resemble Aasimars or other plane-touched individuals until they reach full ‘adulthood’. Once they reach full adulthood, a dragon lord aging is drastically reduced and for all intents and purposes are considered ageless, though they can be killed with a great deal of difficulty.

Dragon lords are rare. When they mate with anything other than elves, only about one in ten births result in a baby with the potential to become a true dragon lord. With elves, the results are far more predictable. For this reason, most dragon lords can be found hiding in cities with a strong elven population. A dragon lord will never force another against their will.

COMBAT
Dragon lords are intensely curious, making excellent spies. They gleefully infiltrate evil cults and organizations, creating havoc wherever they go, usually to the detriment of their enemies. Dragon lords are friendly towards faerie dragons and they will often exchange jokes and pranks. They will collaborate on particularly intense pranks, especially when the victim is evil and or causing problems for the local populous. A dragon lords natural weapons as well as any weapons it wields are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

BREATH WEAPON
A dragon lord has two types of breath weapons, a cone of fire and a mist that has several different properties.
The cone of fire is 175 feet long and deals 20d10 hit points of damage. The mist has the following properties: regenerate and greater restoration as a cleric of at least 20th level. They can only use their breath weapons while in draconian form. They can use their breath weapons once per round as a standard action.

140ft radius 32 hit dice or lower. Will DC 20 negates

WATER-BREATHING
A dragon lord can breath underwater indefinitely and can freely use its spells, breath weapon and other abilities while submerged. While submerged, its breath weapon turns the water to super-boiling steam. It is unaffected by this steam.

PURIFY WATER
Once a day a dragon lord can purify up to 10 cubic feet of water. Its range is equal to 140ft radius.

SOUND IMITATION (EX)
Can mimic any voice or sound it has heard anytime it likes. Listeners must succeed on a DC 25 will save. DC 13 + spell level

CLING
A dragon lord can cling to any surface as though using a spider-climb spell.

ALTERNATE FORM (SU)
An adult dragon or older can assume any animal or humanoid form of Huge or smaller as a standard action at will. Dragon-lords are able to shift their size and general shape as if using a reduce/enlarge person or alter features spell at will. The dragon lord can maintain its form indefinitely. This ability does not allow them to regenerate lost hit points.

LANGUAGES (SU)
Dragon lords can speak draconian, auran, celestial and infernal, though they can read and write in any language, due to an ability akin to comprehend languages or tongues spell. This ability cannot be dispelled.

LEVITATE (SU)
Dragon lords can levitate at will. This ability operates as a 20th level arcane spell.

REGENERATION
A dragon lord takes damage from evil aligned weapons and from spells with the evil descriptor.

UNDETECTABLE ALIGNMENT (SU)
A dragon lord can mimic any alignment aura at will. Only a creature with equal hit-dice or greater has a 50% chance of gauging it's true alignment.

All dragon lords are natural magic-users and can cast spells as a 20th level sorcerer.
All dragon lords can cast divine spells as 20th level cleric. They cannot cast spells with an evil descriptor.
Some dragon lords are excellent psionics and have unlimited level progression in this field.
