Questions about creating a Drow DEX-Paladin. Any suggestions/recommendations?

@lowkey13 is probably the best one to offer optimization advice to a double blade wielding drow paladin.

It would be a matter for the DM if they wanted to transfer it to the Forgotten Realms, and yes there are good reasons not to do so.

Notably, Eberron accepts that it's overpowered and builds some checks and balances into the world. Firstly, like firearms and laser rifles, simply being proficient in Martial Weapons does not grant proficiency. It is what was known in 3rd edition as an "exotic weapon". Even in Eberron, unless you are a high or wood elf from a certain place you are not proficient.

Secondly, if it is used by someone with the wrong race, someone from the right race will attack them on sight.

Unless the DM is going to go to the trouble of building similar drawbacks into the Forgotten Realms, is would be very inadvisable to allow it to exist there.
