I've never been too fond of the "Feywild" concept in all honesty. I do like the idea of some form of Faerie Otherworld but I have not worked out all of my ideas yet for this. Likely it is just going to be similar to an alternate Material Plane that corresponds with the Physical World. Certain areas where the two worlds are closest will allow individuals to sometimes move from one to the next such as the "tween" places- places in between such as the doorways, shadows, the stroke of midnight, etc. The current name is Benith Ammyn or "Land of the Blessed"

First Post
Interesting. I'm of the opinion it and the Shadowfell were the best things to come out of 4E, but I understand not enjoying it. I tend to treat the Feywilds like the mythic Faerie anyhow. However, in my cosmology I've turned the Ethereal and Astral into a 'Spirit Plane' and sometimes the Feywilds just feel... unnecessary.

Anyhow, thanks for answering my question.

I'd be interested in hearing how your 'Benith Ammyn' differs from the Feywilds though. (I'm a big Fey fan. xd)

Isn't this exactly what the Feywild is? At least that was my understanding of the 4e incarnation of it, I didn't think it change in 5e.

OUTER PLANES, Continued

Infernia
The plane of Infernia is one of Chaotic evil. Sometimes known as the 'Realm of Demons' or the 'Infernal Abyss,' the plane is endowed by the dark elf goddess Demoriel, goddess of the night. Mortals who are Chaotic evil but also some Neutral evil can be sent to Infernia in the afterlife. The plane is truly a fearful and demoralizing place were only the strongest can hope to survive. Deceit, treachery and double-crossing are often the hallmarks of this plane. By far, the race of demons are the majority population of Infernia though a number of other evil fiendish creatures also call Infernia home.

Tyrannus
The plane of Tyrannus is a war-torn plane of great evil somewhere between chaos and neutrality. It is endowed by Tormac, the god of war. Mortals of chaotic evil alignment as well as neutral evil can be sent to Tyrannnus in the afterlife. The landscape is mostly rough and barren having been the site of countless wars over the Ages. The skies of Tyrannus, similar to that of the Everhell, are blood red in color while much of the rock and native plant life are dark in color. Rich in iron ore, the plane is known for its many iron mines. Spirits of the weak or discarded, as well as any enslaved visitors from the Material Plane, are often put to work in the mines for eternity.

Netherworld
The Netherworld is thought to be the plane of penultimate evil as befits the goddess who endows the plane, Mordagh, goddess of evil and winter. The plane is primarily one of Neutral evil but mortals of chaotic evil and even lawful evil can sometimes be sent there in the afterlife. A realm of almost eternal darkness and forever blanketed in the grip of winter, the inhospitable plane is a veritable frozen wasteland. Demons, demodands, devils, daemons and even powerful undead creatures each try to carve out a section of the Netherworld to rule over and dominate those weaker than themselves. Ice devils in particular are found on this plane.

Death Pits
The Death Pits are the evil plane between Law and Neutrality. Endowed by Kharon, the god of death, the Death Pits remain the eternal reward for mortals of primarily neutral evil and lawful evil alignment. Much of the planescape is devoid of color or emotion as would be expected in a land of the dead. The skies tend to be gray and overcast while the land is generally barren and lifeless. Bone devils are particularly attracted to this plane as are any number of intelligent undead creatures, both corporeal and intangible. Kharon's palace is said to be guarded by Gorgal, the two-headed Devil Giant.

Everhell
The plane of Everhell is devoted to the cause of lawful evil. It is the home of all manner of devilkind, all of whom pay allegiance, at least in theory, to Abraxas, the god of knowledge and intrigue who endows this plane. Often thought of as a veritable police state, the inhabitants of this plane are clever and cruel in the extreme. Mortals of lawful evil alignment but also some neutral evils are sent to the Everhell for the afterlife. Everhell society is heavily regimented and hierarchical with the most powerful devils claiming such titles as Archduke and Prince. All inhabitants of the Everhell know their place in the social structure spending their days fearing those in positions over them while tormenting those in positions below.
