Anybody tried visiting GamingReport.com in the last 24 hours? I'm getting redirected to Comics Buyers Guide. . . .

Well, I think that since Scrye magazine had folded quite some time ago and that they had own Gaming Report that it was on borrowed time anyways. Hopefully somebody will turn it around, but I won't be surprised to see that IP link go away soon as well. Sad though.

I wonder if it is some kind of DNS problem. Not that I know what DNS is.

James Mishler of F+W Publications is listed as the contact (at GamingReport).

I emailed him (which kicked back to me)...

So, I called him (via his listed extension) but got no answer.

s'bout all I have the time/energy for

Isn't James Mishler the guy at this blog? He has had some controversial rants lately, with lots of coverage here.

I recall that he ran (owned?) gamingreport.com.

DNS = Domain Name System.

Think of websites like a map. Coordinates (the IP address) will show you the specific place, but we give these places names (domain names) so that the human mind can process them better.

So think of http://207.115.90.6/ as the coordinates, and www (dot) gamingreport (dot) com as our name for the website.
