July 7 DDI Update Problems?

Hey all,

i noticed in the last EN World Newsletter that there were some interesting improvements to DDI software in the most recent update that I'd much like to have. I see news about it when I load the character builder, but I see no link to update it. Should I just re-download the file from WotC's site?

I haven't had a chance to test it out in XP, but I'm not seeing any updates in Windows 7 RC (running on my MacBook in VMWare Fusion, if it matters).

Are you running the real character builder or the demo? As far as I know, you have to download the whole thing again if you want to switch from demo to complete CB.

I'm running the real thing. Been rolling up 19th level characters for quite a while, which you definitely can't do on the demo.

Okay, do you see the "Checking for Updates" message in the upper right corner of the splash screen? If so, you might try clicking on the "Having problems?" link. This opens up an info screen with a "Repair" button.
