Thanks for attending our little convention in SE Kansas. It was great meeting and talking with you and I look forward to reading through Against the Darkness and running some games of it!

We will be running a demonstration game using our Bits of Darkness: Dungeons Duo book, at The Game Shoppe in Bellevue, NE. It will be this Saturday, March 31, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Anyone who's interested in a game of D&D with a couple of the people from Tabletop Adventures is welcome to turn out.

We had a good time at GorillaCon. Got to meet some folks from the forums and some new folks from the Kansas and Missouri areas. Some of the afterhours games were just the ticket and we were glad to be a part of the event. GorillaCon is a small, but growing, event with a good group of folks organizing it!
Coming Soon: Bits of the Wilderness: Into the Mountains - Take your PC's to the mountaintop! Scads of mountainous terrain descriptions to take your player's breath away. Recent Writing Credits: Halls of Horror - Tabletop's first modern Bits project. Tons of horrific descriptions of building interiors to amp up the tension in your game sessions.

Tabletop Adventures will again have a table at Nuke-Con, which is being held this year in the Skutt Student Center on the campus of Creighton University. Some events involving our personnel have already been scheduled.
Friday evening Marcy (our board game enthusiast) is hosting a game of "1829" using the "18XX: Rails" system. Saturday afternoon will be an Against the Darkness scenario titled "The Irish Missive" and Sunday will feature another AtD scenario, "The Wrong Turn."
If you are within driving distance of Omaha and would like to do some gaming that weekend, we suggest you consider attending Nuke-Con.

Phil Vecchione (who hangs out at the Treasure Tables forum among other places) has organized the GM-fu seminars the past couple years. He does indeed have something in the works for this year, but it looks like it will have a different format. There will very likely be news on the TT forum when things are ironed out, and possibly here as well. Thanks very much for your interest!

Tabletop Adventures and OSFES, a local sci-fi group, are hosting a demo day at Krypton Comics in Omaha, Nebraska on Saturday, March 29th. Gaming starts at noon and will run most of the afternoon. Stop in for short demonstrations of Tabletop Adventures products or plan to hang out for the afternoon and play. We will be offering both full game sessions and short demo sessions of Against the Darkness, TTA's Vatican Horror RPG. Quick start rules will be available.
Scenarios may include Waves of Blood, Briarwood or other scenarios based upon GM availability and players present at muster. Shorter demo games will also be available throughout the afternoon.
For more info on Against the Darkness, check out the Against the Darkness section of our website. For more info on KryptonComics and a handy map with directions, check out Krypton Comics' webpage.
Disclaimer: Tabletop Adventures is not responsible for sudden or unintended weakness which may or may not occur to players (or their player characters) approaching or entering Krypton Comics. Players with latent superpowers may wish to steer clear of this event for their own safety.
Tabletop Adventures is going to have a GM running four games of Against the Darkness at MAGE Con Spring in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Convention dates are April 25-27, 2008. Games on the schedule are:
-- Into the Fire – A forest fire is spreading in a way that seems unnatural. Is it just a fluke, or are darker forces involved? (Slot 2, Friday, April 25, 7pm-12am)
-- The Irish Missive – A letter from the past leads to hidden information as characters search for lost manuscripts in Ireland. (Slot 3, Saturday, April 26, 9am-1pm)
-- Whitford Manor – A grand southern mansion is haunted by more than just memories of the past. (Slot 5, Saturday, April 26, 7pm-12am)
-- Briarwood – This quiet town hides a dark secret. Now the local priest has gone missing and the characters must find out why. Will they find allies, or is everyone guilty? (Slot 6, Sunday, April 27, 9am-1pm)
And the rest of the usual blurb:
Against the Darkness is an easy-to-learn Vatican horror roleplaying game which is suitable for both experienced gamers who appreciate a religious slant on the horror genre and players looking for an accessible system in which to learn the art of the game. No experience necessary; rules will be taught as needed. Pregenerated characters will be available, or bring your own.
If you are going to be attending MAGE Con, we invite you to sign up for one of these games, or at least look for Vicki in her green company shirt and say hello!
Tabletop Adventures' staff is going to be very busy at GenCon this year. Four of us will be attending, but we have enough activities for six....
The first thing is that we have a booth! It is #400. Well, half a booth. (We will be sharing with Active Mind Games, which provides storage solutions for miniatures.) Stop by and see us at booth #400! It is right next to the booth of the Game Publishers' Association Showcase, and very near where the Guests of Honor will be located. Did we mention it is booth #400?
The second thing is that we are going to have new printed books to sell at our booth! Bits of the Wilderness: Into the Mountains will be available as a 64-page book. We also anticipate having Bits of the Boulevard and the modern-day Halls of Horror there in print form. In addition, a new printing of Against the Darkness (with corrections and clarifications) will be available.
The third thing is that TTA is going to provide primary staffing for the GPA Showcase booth this year, so much of the time you may be able to find two or even three of us in the area.
The fourth thing is that we are going to be running games of Against the Darkness. Four games are scheduled, of which three were filled at the time that event registration closed. Friday's game from 10-2 still has some openings. All games are scheduled to be played in Union Station.
The fifth thing is that one of our products, Bits of Magicka: Pocket Items, received an Honorable Mention from the EN World GenCon RPG Awards (ENnies). We're not sure if any of our people will be able to attend the ceremony, but if you're there, be sure to watch for Pocket Items to be mentioned in the Best Free Product category.
We would be delighted to meet any EN Worlders or other folks who would like to say hello. Stop by our booth, or look for us in our dark green shirts with the TTA logo on the front:

This year for the first time Tabletop Adventures will be attending Origins as a company. We will be in booth #733. Our people will also be providing staffing for the Showcase booth of the Game Publishers' Association (#727) so that will be a good place to catch us as well.
This would be a good opportunity to pick up some of our products in print. We will have Against the Darkness, Halls of Horror, Bits of the Wilderness: Into the Mountains, and Bits of the Boulevard at the convention. Also, we still have copies of The Mother of All Treasure Tables (which we wrote for Necromancer Games) available.
We will also be attending GenCon, but we don't have details about that yet.
Please stop by our booth at Origins and say hello!
