So, I'm sure the question everyone's asking themselves is where Illiana Vresk is - I know I am. For now, she's just not there. If mg2k1 posts, we'll work out details.
Also, I want to make combat go as quickly as possible (for a pbp). First, the enemy's initiative is 10. So Rashelle, Liiros, and Plavin all post your actions for round two, then I'll post then enemy's and Torrent's actions (expect all NPCs to go on the same initiative count). Then all the PCs post what they're doing. So initiative will look something like:
Rashelle, Liiros, and Plavin
Enemies and Torrent
All PCs
Enemies and Torrent
All PCs.
etc.
Second, immediate actions pose a big problem in PbP games. Because of this, I'm not going to narrate the results of enemy actions. So instead of:
Quote:
The orc swings his battleaxe at you, and it sinks deep into your shoulder
I'll post something like:
Quote:
The orc swings his battleaxe at your ferociously.
OOC
22 to hit; 11 dmg
and you'll write what happens. This way, if you would normally get hit by a 22 but you use an immediate action to boost your AC so it misses you, you can do that.

renau1g: I just realized that Korrin knows a bunch of level 2 maneuvers. I don't think you can learn any before level 3.
This would be correct. You can learn maneuvers that are half the level of your Initiator Level. So for 2nd level maneuvers, a level 3 initiator level is required.
Also renau1g, if you decide to multi-class with rogue, rogue levels only count as 1/2 an initiator level. So if you look at my PC Zazz in your game (Rogue 2 // Swordsage 4), he is only a 5th level initiator, as opposed to a 6th for a 6th level swordsage.

We're just waiting for Jemal to post Korrin's actions in the IC thread before moving forward. Jemal, if you don't post by tomorrow evening, I'll act for Korrin.

For Jemal, isn't he playing Rashelle? I'm playing Korrin.
I don't know how I got the PC names wrong. It's Rashelle who needs to go. Rashelle last acted in post 65 of the thread, and round 1 ended in post 66. Rashelle's 22 init puts her before the enemies (they're on 10), so she needs to go before I can post NPC actions for round 2.
Just let me know when it is time for Hollister to act again.

oh.. i was still waiting on round 1 npc actions.. if nothing's happened, she'll wait at the bottom of the stairs for someone else to do something, or for whatever made that sound to appear (Delay)
Okay, the NPC actions have all been posted. Now every PC goes once before then NPCs go again. Everyone needs to post what they're doing, even if they're not doing anything. (Since PCs can all delay at will, their order doesn't really matter other than if they delay past the NPCs they effectively skip their turn).
Some clarification of the Poison Apple map. The "table" that surrounds I5, J5, J6, I6, and H6 is the bar. The door that was almost busted in is between I9 and I10.

I believe that (per RAW) Hollister's ready action woudl change his initiative to just before the action that triggers it, so even after this round he will still be acting with the rest of the PCs.

Absolutely correct (AFAIK). I was referring to Delaying only in my previous post.

No worries. I'd rather be too clear than not clear enough.

M2 is indeed dead. I shouldn't have listed him on the map at all. If anyone's action was based on M2 being a threat, feel free to edit your action.
Rhun: I just realized that you're having Hollister memorize Flaming Sphere, even though he's only second level. Assuming it's based on Hollister's +1 caster level with fire spells, I disagree with your interpretation. If Hollister were ftr1/wiz1 and had the practiced spellcaster feat, he would have a caster level of 2 but would cast spells like a level 1 wizard. The caster level bonus would only apply when spells or other abilities vary based on caster level. I'm AFB right now, but certainly the SRD seems to support this interpretation, if perhaps indirectly - it calls out caster level as something different than the level you have in your spellcasting class.
sync: When I posted this, the IC thread was up to post #82.

Actually, it is based on the Precocious Apprentice feat, which can ONLY be taken at first level, and allows the wizard to cast a second level spell. Once he hits third level and can cast 2nd level spells anyway, it counts as an extra 2nd level spell slot.

Ok, sorry for holding things up, I'll e posting in the IC shortly. Super crazy day today. I love when people at work try and throw you under the bus for their own laziness.
