That would be greedy of me... but if no one else wants to partake of it, I will more than gladly utilize it and work Sebastian into my background
Jemal - I have also decided to make my Book of Knowledge Intelligent. Since you like Intelligent items and it seems like a good fit. It will all be priced and paid for appropriately and will be in the final draft of my character.
Should we keep posting Character's here for touch-up/approval or in the RG?

Hrm. I could see how the trio would clique together, though in a less direct manner. Chevik's got that whole "Charismatic Scholar" thing going, whilst Sabastian is more in-line with the "Roguish Adventurer" cliche', and Arineil is most assuredly the "Grr! Squish Puny Evil Creatures!" archetype -- this is, of course, the most simplified opinion I received upon peeking at the sheets, and thus not entirely accurate.
With all that force of personality Chevik has, perhaps he took it upon himself at one point to enlist some muscle in the form of our local Barbarian/Fighter, and a troubleshooter via Sabastian. Think of it like Cohorts, sans the Leadership feat! Or, you know, something to that effect. Just chucking ideas out there.
On another note, without greed, adventurers wouldn't exist! As the old saying goes: "Find Plot. Kill Monsters. Collect Loot. Repeat." Besides, if I'm not gonna use Sabastian's Craft Pool, I might as well pass it out to anyone else who might; no point in letting it go to waste and whatnot.

Since it has been a couple of hours I will assume that I'm free to use it as no one else appears to want it or can work it into their backstory
I was thinking of something similar to tie our backgrounds in together rpgramen. The three of us could collectively be an old adventuring party, originally chartered by Chevik, that is now moving on to fulfill our "destinies" (after the tragic loss of our arcanist recently of course)...

I still have 10,000 of untapped experience waiting to be bartered...
Also, I've made the requisite changes, but no background yet, and I have some extra spending money I've yet to allocate. I'll probably by a magical, portable fortress, because it fits the backstory I've formulated in my head.

Description
Bramble at first glance looks like the gigantic truncated stump of what was once a truly monstrously sized tree. A good thirty feet across at its base, it slopes to a narrower 20' tip, jagged and broken looking. Its bark is thick and hoary, with clinging vines and moss and lichens. A sharp eye though will spot shuttered windows that light squeezes out through, and a merrily smoking iron pipe in the back. And of course, there's the large, intricately worked iron double doors in the front.
The front doors open into the great hall, or reception hall. A thin (illusory) mist swirls low over the floor, which slopes gently up towards the rear end. There, perched at the high point in the room, is a magnificent throne of carved and shaped wood, inlaid with gold and silver. All along the walls, ghostly (illusory) forms stand vigil, along with gorgeous glowing (illusory) tapestries that slowly undulate in an intangible wind. Suspended from the ceiling in the center of the great hall is a large golden brazier that shines upward like a tiny sun, illuminating the entire room with the only shadow being directly underneath it.
Behind the throne is the well hidden door that leads to the kitchen and the staircase that leads upwards. The kitchen has a wood burning oven, and two magical fixtures...a basin of water that never empties, and a pantry that is always full of food. It is here that Tatterdemalion cooks meals for Sigil and herself, and whatever guests may be visiting.
Up the staircase is a gorgeously worked wooden door that leads to Sigil's bedroom. This is a large chamber with a luxurious bed and several chairs and a writing desk next to a window. Behind a thin moveable cloth screen is a depression in the floor that can be filled with water for bathing. A small, unobtrusive door leads from here to the privy, which deposits its contents out behind the fortress periodically.
Farther up the stairs is the study, which has a small library of books and scrolls, a large work desk, and a plush chair that faces the door that leads out to the balcony.
The stairs finally wind up to the roof, which is a flat area on top surrounded by the jags of "broken" wood that give the odd house its 'snapped off' look from the ground. These jags of wood serve as battlements, giving cover to people on top. An enchantment lets anyone on top summon protective winds that encircle the whole roof, diverting arrows and other ranged attacks (no effect on ranged spells or siege weapons). This also prevents such projectiles from being fired out though.
Should anyone approach the outer wall of ground level of Bramble, the vines and roots snap out and attempt to entangle the unfortunate, as the Entangle spell. Additionally, the front doors, the trapdoor leading up to the roof, and the balcony door all have statues near them of a griffon rampant. When someone approaches these doors other than Sigil or Tatterdemalion, a mental alert is sent to Sigil (as Alarm spell). Each room of the structure has an invisible force that functions as an Unseen Servant that can be commanded by anyone in the room. The great hall and bedroom in Bramble are always 70 degrees and full of fresh air, regardless of outside conditions. Light, other than that of the Brazier in the great hall, is provided by everburning torches in divots in the walls. All the walls regrow quickly after being damaged, healing 1HP per turn.
Most fantastic of all, Bramble can move! The vines growing on its trunk writhe and twist together, forming four thick, low slung legs that it can carry itself along at a ground speed of 10' per round. Bramble cannot double move, nor run...but it can move continuously with no rests, allowing it to cover up to 24 miles per day on good terrain. Bramble can also float easily, and 'swim' across bodies of water at the same rate it can walk at.
And the "Most Overall Awesome PC Purchase" Award goes to Shayuri, because having a mobile fortress (of DOOM!) is just nine kinds of win multiplied to the fifth powah!

Shayuri - Bramble is pure awesomeness condensed into a treelike form.
Salthorae - Sorry I should've mentioned this in my last post, the paragnostic is interesting, I'm fine with it.
Everyone - Please put your character sheets into the Rogues Gallery. I'll look'em over and post any required changes/issues here, and you can edit them.
I'd like to get started this campaign fairly soon, as it has been nearly two weeks. I'd like to start sometime on the 6th, as that's my next day off, so lets see what we can do about these sheets & Backgrounds.
I like the trio of adventurers idea, and I'm enjoying the voidrazor/shayuri being ancient friends plan, too. Is anybody else having ties to the party?
BTW, I've been a bit under the weather the last few days so probably won't be looking over character sheets tonight.
Man, I'd forgotten how much fun the Stronghold Builder's Guide was. Best part is that all the magical goodies are done with Craft Wondrous Item, so Sigil can upgrade Bramble as we go!
We may have to convert the study into some more beds though, since it was originally designed just for Sigil and Tatter... Or y'all could sleep in the great hall. It's air conditioned in there.
Anyway, things are almost done with Sigil. I'm just finalizing powers/feats/skills and so on. I'll post the final draft this evening most likely.
Hrm. Tatter... no, no. That simply just won't do. Tatertot is much more appropriate!
Also, I think Sabastian would probably feel incredibly uncomfortable in the Great Hall. Not that sharing a massive room with a bunch of other people is the issue, mind you, but... uh... creepy ghosts that may or may not be watching you sleep? Yeah... just a tad disconcerting >.>
yyeaaa with the dreams Arineil is accustomed to having at night... ghosts type beings are the least of her worries.... plus she can sleep though a terrasque rampaging through a house if she was really tired enough.. she's rather a heavy sleeper...

And yeah, the ambience in the great hall isn't really meant to foster sleepiness.
Ah well, we can worry about accommodations later. Maybe Bramble can grow a new room given some time and resources.
Don't forget that in Jemal's world crafting takes 1/10 of the time, and I also have craft wonderous items... so we could probably add a new room or two in a day!

Well, constructing a new room wouldn't just be a matter of enchanting items, though that'd be part of it. Stronghold spaces use money and time for construction purposes too. Labor and materials.
It'd also add to the cost of the motility features, and some of the other stuff...
But it's definitely doable, especially with the kind of budgets epic characters are on.
You'd suggested that Sigil be a sort of rambunctious wild child, contrasted with your more serious character, which I think is cool. You'd also be the only living person who knows her mortal name, which is also cool.
As for relationship, I'm thinking close friendship might be preferable to actual familial ties...though I'm open to the idea. What do you think?
Lets make it half-sisters by marriage. Shortly after Kaethrynne's mother died, her dad remarried Sigil's mom (or the other way around if you prefer.) That way it won't interfere with the bloodline thing, assuming fey blood is matrilineal. But it keeps the drama of having a family member rather than just friend shift in personality. Sound OK?
I was also thinking that K. would have returned very recently. It would be cool to do the initial reunion IC. However, since I would like to prevail upon S. for some crafting, perhaps an elder in the fey realm foresaw events and advised S. to make some specific preparations.
If the remarriage thing sounds good, perhaps there could have been some controversy surrounding it. i.e. If our dad was a baron, then he would be expected to marry nobility. He may have been marrying up due to S.'s mom's bloodline, but the populace wouldn't be aware of that.
That'd be tricky...but maybe not out of the question. Let me summarize the background as it stands right now, with the understanding that it's still "soft" as it were, so we can still make changes without messing things up.
Sigil's mother lived in a small town, where she was viewed as scandalous because of her strange ways (druidic faith, perhaps) and her unmarried status. The scandal intensified when she became pregnant with what turned out to be a lovely baby girl, and the father was unknown.
At this point, perhaps Sigil's mom and Katherine's dad met somehow. It may be that her mom got a reputation as a healer and 'wise woman' of sorts, and Kat's dad...a local ruler...had need of such counsel. Maybe he had an illness that was of a somewhat compromising nature, so he didn't want the clergy to know about it. Or maybe they just crossed paths and her beauty smote him or something.
Then the girls grew up together for awhile in the baron's keep. Sigil (not what she was called then, of course) had a powerful draw to the woods and lakes and loved to explore them, to the dismay of caretakers. Kat was probably assigned to go get her a lot, and keep an eye on her. I think there might have been some inkling of her abilities...perhaps she liked talking to the castle animals, and they seemed to actually listen, or she saw things that didn't seem to be there... She may have seemed "slow" or "special."
And then one day she vanished. For a week or so before, she'd been especially scarce and seemed distracted. More so than usual. There were strange lights and sounds coming from her room, though never odd enough to get adult attention. She would have been in her early teens, perhaps... Then one night she sneaked out, and never came back. Dogs tracked her into the woods, but her tracks ended abruptly in a little circular clearing ringed by old swollen toadstools.
As time raced by in the mortal world, Sigil was embroiled in a power struggle in Faerie as the current ruler of what was at least a large swath of that world was a feared and despised tyrant known only as the Winter Queen. She joined a tiny underground resistance and began unlocking the mysteries of her blood as she fought the armies of Winter. In the big final confrontation Sigil learned that the Winter Queen herself was also of mixed mortal and fey blood, and that she had first opposed a terrible warrior queen when she'd arrived. In short, she learned that this was but another chapter in a book written from blood, and in vanquishing Winter and becoming the next Queen of Summer, she wasn't ending happily ever after, but embarking on a path to her own eventual corruption and destruction.
I'm thinking at this point, maybe Sigil tried to return to the mortal world, but found it in the grip of this warlord's reign, and so fled back to Faerie. Whether or not that happened, she then stayed in Faerie for long ages, but eventually realized that the evergreen forests were starting to turn orange and yellow, one leaf at a time. The grass was ever so slowly yellowing and ripening. And her heart was gradually turning harder, and colder. Things seemed less fun now. Her patience wore thin faster. More and more, she had moments where she felt like she was surrounded by cretins...that the only way they'd be worth anything would be if they were -forced- to be worth something.
Sigil realized that the cycle couldn't be broken...winter was coming, and it would arrive. But that didn't mean SHE had to be the Winter Queen. She had human blood as well as fey. The bond that let her cross one way should, in theory, let her cross back. So she took her most loyal servant, and her 'mobile home,' used for long treks to distant corners of the realm, and took them to the crossroads when the stars were right. There she abdicated the throne and title of Summer Queen, along with the powers and privileges therof, which would (presumably, no one really knew) open it up for the fey to fill with another candidate, and used the crossroads to pass back into the mortal world.
Her return to the mortal world can be as long or as short a time ago as is needed for background and plot elements. I do think it shouldn't have been TOO long, since one thing she would do fairly quickly on getting back is visit the tomb of the Warlord, who's bloody ascension to power she had witnessed before crossing the veil to Faerie in the first place. It is one of the few things that ties the world of the present to what she remembers.
