Oh my goshness. You're right. You just gave me more spending cash and that softened the blow of my ix-nay on the est-vay of esistance-ray.

Opinion: Should I opt for the Wings of Flying or go with the Cloak of Resistance +5? I like the option of flying if necessary.

Nonsense, sir. As many times as I've had to re-re-re-re-revise my sheet, you're no worse off than the rest of us

Also, I'd probably vote Vest of Resistance. If worst comes to worst, we've got a few people capable of casting Fly/Overland Flight/Wind Walk, among other alternatives. Carpets of Flying are also viable, and drastically cheaper. Might wanna look into that

Shayuri - Hmm, you're right about the GP, Guess we all make mistakes. Roronoa might be right about the miscalc, I'm not sure what happened.

As far as the +6 rod of splendor, I'd allow it as a 50,000 gp item, and yes it just needs to be possessed - Though I rule that it doesn't count if it's in an extradimensional space, so wear it on your belt or something.

Myth - Don't worry, If it takes you longer I'm willing to write you in as having to catch up, I'm just really anxious to get started.

Lets see what you got so far, and I'll see if I can help.

You'll have to remind me what the book of knowledge does, I can't remember nor find it in the thread.
My calculations say you've spent 17,405 gp more than your limit, you may want to re-add yourself to doublecheck.

Did I miss anybody's questions? They seem to have been answered by each other.

ALSO, Could everybody who has crafted items make a note somewhere under their equipment entry as to who crafted it? It doesn't have to be for every item unless different people crafted different items, just something like "Items crafted by Sigil"

Jemal - Good catch! On my calculation sheets I had the correct #'s, but forgot to change them on this post copy. I forgot to add my crafting of the Cloak of Charisma +6 for 18k gp instead of paying the 36000, so the #'s were off by 18000 as I have 595 gp leftover.

I have been reading the thread about the Vest of Resistance, and it means that there are some more things I need to edit on my sheet before you review it again.

I will post when it's done!

Here is the info on the Book of All Knowledge:
Book of All Knowledge
The pages of this enormous tome are rough-edged and yellowed. Embossed on the worn, blue leather cover is the holy symbol of Boccob.

A book of all knowledge is said to contain all the secrets of the world, but few mortals are capable of accessing all that information. Its pages are apparently infinite; no matter how many you turn, more still remain unturned. Once per day, you can attempt a single Knowledge check (as if you were trained) with a +10 insight bonus after perusing the book for 2d4 hours.
If you're a worshiper of Boccob (or any deity that offers access to the Knowledge domain), the time required is only 1d4 hours.

Cost to Create: 1, 500 gp, 120 XP, 3 days.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, lore of the gods* (Spell from Complete Champion), worshiper of Boccob.


Lore of the Gods - Spell
LORE OF THE GODS
Divination
level: Cleric 2
Components:V, S
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Personal
Target: You
Duration: 10 minutes/level or until discharged

Your mind opens to the secrets of the cosmos and briefly touches the omniscience of the gods.

You gain a +5 insight bonus on all Knowledge checks. At any point before the duration expires, you can make a check with a Knowledge skill in which you have no ranks, or retry a Knowledge check you have previously failed. The +5 insight bonus still applies in both of those cases, but utilizing this option reduces the spell's remaining duration to 1 minute/level.
If you worship a deity who grants access to the Knowledge domain, the bonus is +10 rather than +5—even if you did not choose that domain.


As for Aerial combat, Chevik can cast Airwalk on himself or Windwalk, or emulate any spell to give flight through Miracle...though I don't expect him to be doing a lot of hand to hand really.

Question on the Archmage High Arcana - Spell-Like Ability. The SRD says: An archmage who selects this type of high arcana can use one of her arcane spell slots (other than a slot expended to learn this or any other type of high arcana) to permanently prepare one of her arcane spells as a spell-like ability that can be used twice per day.

So, does this mean that for example i can cast 3 lvl 9 spells normally. Then, i choose to make one of them a SLA. So i am left with 2 level 9 spells, but i can use the SLA 2 times, effectively giving me +1 lvl 9 spell at the cost of a lvl 5 spell?

Yes if you wanted to have a 2/day 9th Level SLA and normally you could cast 3 9th level spells/day.

You would lose the 5th level slot for the High Arcana, and 1 spell slot from whatever level spell you chose to make an SLA, in this case 9th).

Ha-ha, this is great :P Now, another quick question, i have taken Spell Focus: Evocation, and i need a second spell focus to get to Archmage. I had taken Necromancy for the benefit of Horrid Wilting, Wail of the Banshee and Finger of Death. However, my character doesnt have any realistic RP reason to dabble with Necromancy (she is a Sun mage). So then, Jemal suggested i go with Conjuration, but how many useful blasting spells are Cjonuration? Woudln't Transmutation be better for save-or-die spells?

Also, how many bonus languages does she get? Her final INT will be 36. Thanks!

Myth. your ending Int doesn't give you any bonus languages. Only your int at level one, and only your permanent Int (no Enhancements).

Starting INT is 20. So how many languages for that? Regarding focusing, Enchantment seems nice. I have always disliked Illusion. Hmmm. Why would Rhun suggest Conjuration though? I'm sure i'm missing something here.

If I'm not mistaken..... it's Common +5 other languages at 20 Int... as 20 is a +5 bonus.. so I think it's 5 bonus langs.... now.... as far as focusing.... my money has always been on rays... rays=uber.... even some of the low level rays such as scorching ray is a BIG payoff especially with your rod of metamagic empower... if you can you should pick up a rod of metamagic quicken too.. but again these are just my opinions.... I guess I'm trying to say.. see what ray spells go with which school of magic and choose from there if it were me.. did I mention I love rays? hehe
