I saw that and though hey... background ties heh.... but as I know NOTHING about the artificer class... I'm thinking they would have been separated at birth.... Laz is VERY much a loner... tis why he has his familiar raven.. and his stone golem in this world and that's IT... to him he doesn't know of any family still left alive.... toss me some ideas based on that info thus far and we'll run with it from there

I am too Rhun... which is WAY more fun for me at least this way

I love the part where our DM will go over the module afterward and lets us know what we completely overlooked and all the PC's facepalm because of what they missed LOL

I like that too...unfortunately, we never seem to finish adventures in PBP. I think I've finished two in the last three or four years here.

I will ablsolutely not be offended if either or both of you don't like this idea, but here's the first thing that came to my mind:

Laz and Kumar were born to Ariala and Merven. Ariala and Merven had grown apart over the years, Ariala reveling in her existence in the Forests of her homeland, and Merven being obsessed with crafting his magical constructs. When the couple were expecting a child, Ariala became so distraught that she almost totally withdrew from Merven, who threw himself into his artificing with renewed vigor. The couple were both surprised when twins were born. They each took one twin, went to their respective homes, and never spoke again. Soon enough, Kumar and Laz found out about each other's existence and set about forming a cunning plan to be reunited. You guys, if you like this, can take it from there.

Or, if you don't like it, feel free to pretend this never happened.
