Really?... I thought when 3.5 came out they had improved the monks to even more badass'ness?.... Where are their weak points if I may ask?... I'm not usually a monk fan but inquiring minds want to know heh....

Maybe if someone was really skilled at optimizing one? In my opinion they usually take too much damage, and they don't cause enough damge.

Wisdom for AC and uses of stunning stuff, Dex for AC any any ranged stuff(as well as bonuses to reflex saves), Strength for damage and accuracy, and con for if they get hit.
Pretty much they need to dump int(which means low skills), and charisma(which means no one likes them). And then they still have trouble keeping up with the epic weapons and the like as players level up... as well as issues when caught flatfooted.

With that said, though...I'm finding the idea of a Monk/Kensai oddly appealing.

Monks are good flavor. Just very hard to pull off mechanically without lots of trinkets and a higher point buy starting score.
Edit:
Most of my Warlock is up now. Just need to allocate 2 feats and decide on my invocations.
I thought for sure you'd have your feats all picked by now!

May I suggest Weapon Focus: Ray if you don't have it already.... or seeing as you're going melee-lock... maybe empower spell like ability....
Empower Spell-like came to mind. As did Quicken. I'm not sure how they work though. Ray, I wasn't sure if Eldritch Blast would count.
Am I required to choose an invocation beforehand when selecting the ability?
Rhun: I was busy doing skills and inventory... and my mom kicked me off my computer for about 3 hours to watch House. Because House is awesome enough to pull me away from numbercrunching for awhile. I've still got 315 gold I don't know what to do with, lol.

I'm a big House fan...no so much for the "medical mystery" of the show, but just to see what kind of great insults House is going to throw out next. My friends and I have actually turned it into a drinking game.

My mother hates House(the guy, she likes everyone else on the show); but I find him quite entertaining.
I also realized I need to choose which energy resistances I want, as well as my invocations.

It states in the description of Eldtritch Blast that it's a ray doesn't it?... don't see how that is much more of an invitation to take WF: Ray heh
Worst case scenario you just do Weapon Focus [Eldritch Blast].

~facepalm~ I keep missing things today. Still, I'm fairly happy with what I've turned out as far as the character goes so far.
Does anyone know if there's a limitation on how many invocations of each level I can know? I know there's an overall "Known Invocations" but what's the "Least, lesser, greater, dark" numbers restricted to?

I think when you get a new invocation you can simply choose it out of any invocation category you currently have access to, and that is based on level. So if you qualify for greater invocations and get a new invocation, you can use it for a great, a lesser, or a least if you want.

at first level you get your first least invocation.. and at 6th level you can take a lesser one... so 5th level is the last level you have to take least powers... at that point you should have 3 least invocations.... at 11th you get one greater... so from 6th to 11th could give you 3 least or lesser invocation... for a total so far of 6 invocations... 11th would give you one greater and that's it... so you could have a total of...
3 Least
3 Lesser
1 Greater
Now you can trade out any higher level invocations for a grade lower one.... but I dunno why you would.... heh

Hideous Blow : When asked, Sage Advice 'officially' ruled that as an invocation it DOES provoke AoO's. When asked for his take on this, Richard Baker (The writer of Complete Arcane) said "That's bull, it's a mellee power".
So you can either side with the sage who routinely makes bad decisions.. or the guy who wrote the class.
# of Invocations of each level:
3.
If you look at the chart, you gain 3 least invocations, then at level 6 you gain a new invocation and can then choose from Lesser as well.. however you can't trade a lower level invocation for a higher level one later on (Just like a sorceror couldn't forget a 2nd level spell to learn a 3rd level spell). This happens every 3 invocations, so you get 3 of each grade before proceeding to the next grade.
There's also a feat in complete arcane "Extra Invocation" that grants you an extra invocation of any grade other than your highest.
At lvl 12 you have 3 Least, 3 Lesser, and 1 Greater invocation, plus any bonuses from taking the feat.
Empower and Quicken SLA both state "Choose one of the creature's spell-like abilities", so yes you have to choose one when you take the feat. I would suggest Eldritch Blast. Though Quickened has many fun uses with warlock invocations.

Monks suffer severely from MAD.
Wisdom for AC and uses of stunning stuff, Dex for AC any any ranged stuff(as well as bonuses to reflex saves), Strength for damage and accuracy, and con for if they get hit.

Except that the monk AC bonus specifically states "These bonuses to AC Apply even against touch attacks or when the monk is flat footed"
I agree with the rest though, Monk's a good dip class at higher level, but needs multiple good stats.
