Are you sure you wanto to buy life shrouds? You won't be able to touch bodies that have them, since you're undead.
Yeah, they're more for flavour and I hope it doesn't come down to just my PC left....

No problem, I didn't realize that. I've switched to Trollskin, make him harder to kill 1/day

Ha! Just saw that, I need to be original so I switched for Brooch of Vitality (and its 10 more hp's)

Likewise Bear's Endurance.
Bear's Endurance shouldn't because Kalas isn't actually using a Healing surge, but rather regaining hp as if you had spent a healing surge (so in other words free healing 1/day), although on the ring of invigoration it should be added in. Thanks!

Nope you're not... I suck

No problem. I really like all the PP's for Kalas.

I'm back!... and hopefully it will last, this time. My line seemed fixed for a couple of days, but apparently it actually wasn't. Reeeeally been pissed for a few days.
Sorry for the inconvenience, all.
I'm going to finalize Anostor today or tomorrow, he's practically done, but I'll make a nicer sheet for cov, like he asked.
I haven't read everything here yet but I was thinking Orelal might have hired Anostor for an interplanar resque of some sort of mystic jewel or material required for the construction of his tower or for some ritual, and then Duran could have been asked to stay with the group for further purposes... the dream in the headline of the thread might do the job alright.
What do you think?

Please excuse my poor English. It is not my first language.
Orelal lost his Shadow close to the point of building his tower, Anostor could have been hired to find it, in some heroic plane jumping chase.
Anostor may have found it just in time to come back for the Domaine de Massacre Ritual Ceremony. Returning, not just with the shadow, but with a very young wyvern as well.
Access to the Domain, as well as a one square tele-circle would be the rewards. (this may not have even been their first interaction...)
That's my quick brain storming over it. Change what you like.
My reading of Anostor (from memory, not from recent re-reading) is that he's motivated more by wanderlust, combat, and a desire for grand adventures than any particular cause or goal. If so, a dream in which he sees himself fighting fearsome foes in an exotic location alongside companions, one of which he recognizes as Orelal, might well be enough to get him to seek Orelal out just to be ready when the fun starts.
Starting tomorrow I'm going to be out-of-town for just over a week. So if it looks like things are going to get moving, feel free to give the slot I'm interested in to someone else.
So I said I'd make a decision in two day, and it hasn't quite been three yet... With no further ado, then, stonegod gets the 6th spot. Welcome aboard!
We've got 3 characters in the RG ready to go. I'm going to be out of town from tomorrow night until sometime on Sunday. I'd like to work towards getting this started early next week. So if you can finish* your characters up by say, Sunday, hopefully we can get this started Monday or Tuesday. Or, you know, shortly thereafter or whatever.
* enough to be going on with, at least. As always, this is about fun, so if you find that your character isn't as much fun as it could be for some mechanical reason, we'll surely be able to work something out later.
Great. I'll read through everyone's sheet more carefully and see if I can change something to get more synergy. If someone has suggestions I'll be happy to read them.
As for Anostor's motivation... yeah, cov summed it up pretty well, his way might be fine too. I'll think about it while I read the backgrounds again, too.

Everyone has a restraining order from Orelal, his Shroud of Life and Death does 5 damage necrotic to living or 5 damage radiant to undead, who come within 15 feet of him.
Cov: I'm just throwing this out there, but Divine Power comes out Tuesday. I'm pretty sure Sarenax is the only divine character (or at least main-class divine). If I can get my hands on it soon (like, day-of or within a couple days of release), could I possibly switch a couple things if I make it quick?
Feats are the most likely thing to change. There's not a whole lot in the way of feats aimed at high level clerics, so I'm interested to see what's there for them. I'm pretty happy with Sarenax's powers, so I don't really see a need to change any of them. I might consider a new PP, but only if one really, really jumps at me (and, of course, if you gave the green light). I haven't really done much to play up Angelic Avenger, but it is pretty solid mechanically. (In other words, I'm content with it, it's just not that perfect path for how I envision Sarenax, y'know?)
Also: welcome aboard, stonegod! And to everyone, as Ata said, if there are any final suggestions for building Sarenax to fit better with the rest of the party, let me know. I'm on a sort-of holiday until Sunday or Monday, but I'll be checking in regularly still. If there's any changes I'm making to Sarenax, I'll have them finalized Monday night at the latest (barring any changes post-Divine Power).
Divine Power changes are a possibility. If everything else is ready, I'd rather not hold up the start of the game for it, but planning to make changes, say, after the first encounter, should be fine.
So looking at the RG as is, we all have pretty comparable defenses, which is great as the defender because there's even more incentives for the monsters to attack Kalas as he no harder to hit than the "squishies"...oh and Cabana, what's with you and wyverns?
