Can access almost all 2.0 and 3.5 materials, most 3.0 splatbooks, core 4.0 stuff (it's an okay game on it's own but it's definitely different from the D&D I've known for the last 16 years)
Spoiler:
player:"How much damage does a gnome do?"
DM:"depends on his stats and his weapon."
player:"so go by weight."
DM:"NO use the small weapon listings."
player:"I think you misunderstood what I'm asking. I'm playing a half-orc. I repeat my first question in light of this"
FROM Chatty DM's site: "let's attack some bitches with some hoes."
"what's the AC to hit puberty."
Myth, question: Will this be an outdoors-ish campaign, or a more indoors-Dungeon type campaign?
The reason I am asking is I'm wondering how much use my Warcharger would be, and whether or not I should take the "Charging Smite" Variant instead. (Of course, that's mostly unimportant atm, but for skills it matters a slight bit.)

The party will trudge trough the valley initially, but ultimately what happens is up to you guys. At the start, it will be rough terrain, desolate, barren and eery. Century old gravestones will be littering the ground, the narrow cobblestone ways are already in a bad shape of disrepair with deep holes, missing pavement and tricky roots springing up. There are swamplands, there will also be crypts, burial chambers deep in the cliffs and more, but i don't want to spoil things. Ultimately, it will be 40% outdoors to 60% indoors the way i see it, but the party might do something different entirely so...

And Helm has me shining my armor for that very day, apperances are everything. But soon my friends we will decend to the Valley and lay waste to the horrors that would attack the light. Rejoice!! my friends for even if we are laid low and then return to walk in undeath, Helm's Will will be done as it is in all things.
OOC: think I'm going to like playing Kye (Ki) oh and I still am on background typing like he talks is hard for me you know my spelling sucks.
Please tell me our backgrounds weren't supposed to be in-character...

No you can write your background in past tense, in first person, third person - whatever you are comfortable with. Just put some effort in it
wysiwyg: we are not starting any time soon as (1) i have to nitpick every character, (2) not everyone is ready with their PC (3) i'm switching flats right now so i'll be moving this weekend. And i have a ton of work during the week (and nitpicking a character takes like an hour for me at least, when i have to reference each book etc. Especially that one that use the Book of 9 Swords, i have to learn what all the stances etc. do so i can regulate combat). I'd say it's a fair assumption that we start during the second week of september at the rate we are going. Earlier is better though, but I can't commit to a date.
hellrazor111: did you see my comments on your character several pages back?

whew, I was afraid I was gonna have to do a rewrite of the whole thing and I think he'd be rather more long winded (and a bit ranting at times) than I was describing it.

Let me make it simple and spare you about 400 hours of reading. Each one of the classes in ToB has manoeuvres and stances. I’ll only go into the Sword Sage class as I’m the only one playing it for now. I don’t think I’ll progress beyond level 2 as SwS anyways. Manoeuvres: I have 7 known manoeuvres of which 4 can be readied at any one time, much like known spells and prepared spells. Some of them are used to counter events (like help a saving throw), some to boost an action (like giving a skill modifier) and some of them are used to attack foes. As such they are broken down into 3 broad groups: Counters, Boosts, Strikes. I have to decide which are the readied manoeuvres I have prepared, much like spells. The difference being that manoeuvres can be used once per encounter instead of once per day. I can choose to prepare a different manoeuvre, but it takes a little bit of time and thus cannot be done during encounters. Stances: My PC knows 2 stances. Unlike manoeuvres, stances do not need to be prepared. They can also function for the entire duration of the encounter as they don’t expire. I can only perform one stance in any given round. I can perform a Counter manoeuvre with a stance as well, but not a Strike or Boost manoeuvre unless it says so explicitly.
I’ll go and enter in the full description of my stances, manoeuvres and class abilities on my PC sheet. Probably take me longer than it would take you to move to your new house. Just went through that experience myself. Don’t know how gypsies do it.

Ah blessed by Helm we be!! Another voice to praise the Watching Eye and tell tales of daring. Come brother as we must embark to the evil lands to throw out the old tales and make the new ones to be heard through out the four lands.
OOC: Whew!! I won't be the only one ranting Any info/names you can give to add to the story of my background will help ML right now I'm doing the Victor Hugo thing the village of D- and such lol

Shayuri is helping me. When all 8 PCs are in the RG he'll help with nitpicking (seeing things i haven't, help with rulings etc.) I'll also do a thread for the world, some DC0 stuff to help you with your backgrounds.
HM are you interested in Helm in particular? If so you can use the FR lore on him and his Chirch. What else would you like to know? Nobility, geography, logistics, demographics etc? Notable NPCs, notable events of the past? I will definitely give you guys a lot of info on Angelwatch as it's completely house-made.
OOC: Kye is a 2nd addition character that I never ever got to play so yes Helm is his deity of choice And just add links as you have time I will add to background
