"After a series of plagues, a rain of fire and molten stone, and several waves of invading monstrous humanoids, the Eldritch Giants of Teotlok mysteriously halted their brutal war against the Vaish Kingdoms.
Rumors abound that the giants simply disappeared, leaving their strange jungle citadel empty, ready to be looted by the remnants of their own humanoid armies..who just as promptly melted into the jungle, never to return.
Others say the eldritch giants will surely return. Whispering tales of strange war-rituals conducted with demons and a soured alliance between the eldritch giants and a God of Undeath are told around the campfires.
A series of expeditions were launched to find out what happened, and a small port with a colony was eventually founded on the southern shores of Teotlok. This port- Sultan's Hand-- is where your characters will gather.
The jungle is out there... "
This is a play by post game for 3-6 1st level PCs. All DDI races and classes are open- all general and scales of war backgrounds are open. you *must* use the character builder to make your character and post it to iplay4e characters (I can help you do this).
I have had some success with short run play-by-post, (just a couple of weeks- like the equivalent of 1 or 2 days of adventure) and come to a conclusion. If there is still interest, we can continue! I would prefer players who aren't in 2+ other games Submit your character idea here..

I'm also interested. I keep trying to find a 4E game that works for me . . .
I'm also in more than 2 other games, but none of them are posting more than once or twice a week.
First thought was for an Assassin, no thoughts on race yet. Ryan (renau1g) if that's your preference I'd play something else . . .
It'll be at least this evening before I can get something up, and I've never heard of iplay4e characters but I'm sure I can figure it out (especially with the proferred help).
Having given it some thought, I likely won't have the time necessary to give this one a fair shot - I respectfully withdraw my expression of interest (no hard feelings, I hope).
I'm in 1 other game, and I want to half-elf vestige pact warlock. Or something else if I need to.

I'm in though I'm currently in at least one other game, possibly two. I have plenty of time though and should be able to commit myself. I'm interested in playing a striker but could play a leader or defender if need be!
Ideas for PC
Elf Cleric
Human sorcerer
Half-elf ranger(dual-wield)
Everyone is approved (above) who really wants to do this! Any 1st level that comes out as a legal build in the character builder is fine. Make the character you want to play.
That is renaug, Phaezen, Legildur, chitzk0i, reklaw
Please use the DDI Character builder and email me the .dnd4e file for your completed character. I am going to use iplay4e.com to host the characters. You'll be able to see your character on the website for reference purposes.
(you can email them to me at pseckler13@msn.com and I will host them in a place where you can keep track of all abilities and reference them)
This particular D&D World is a world of my own creation, but it isn't super-detailed or that different from what you might expect reading the D&D books.
I will leave 1 slot open for latecomers.

I think Bugbear your Assassin is great!, but I think I am going to have to say no oversized weapons. (the reasoning for this is the same reason for the minotaur- I just don't think they were ever meant to be used that way). So your character is cool as-is, since you chose a regular sized Falchion!

What do you think of a human wild sorcerer? I'm already playing 2 games and DMing another 2, but I think I have the time, if you are interested in my submission.
Appearance:
Bonamius is somehow tall, and skinny , with penetrating red eyes. His hands are thin and fast. He is very thoughtful and speculative, and never take others ideas lightly without questioning. His magical displays are used very usually, against enemies, against stubborn objects which seems not to be in the correct place, and anything that Bonamius think must be destroyed. His evil side is strong, making him a dreadful rival.
Background:
Born and left alone in a temple, Bonamius was given to a humble family when he was a baby. He grew fast and his adoptive family started to see his true nature. The merciless young Bonamius learned to make magic tricks and used them with evil purposes. He shot birds, cats and anything that moves with his eldrich blast. Soon enough the youngster flee his home, looking for something more than a pathetic farm, and start traveling with no defined goal. His life at the moment was nothing but mercenary jobs, years of isolation, and self-retention in wizards library. He learned by himself, the only interaction with other people usually involves bluffing, lies or intimidation.

Hey Peter, glad to see you back behind the dm screens. I have fond memories of games you ran a few years back. I don't have the time for another game now, but I just wanted to say hi. Some excellent players are lining up for this one. Ya'll have fun.
Hey Scotley I remember you I have a new (improved) way of managing this I hope!
Evil Halfling if you complete and upload a character you will be in.
So far, I have:
Phaezen (Flint) - Razorclaw shifter seeker
Renaug (Hale) - bugbear assassin
Voda Vosa - human wild sorcerer
When I get to 6 players with completed PCs properly uploaded to that site, we will start. I am going to go strictly on a first come first served basis, and I'll try and keep the game moving.!

Yeah, I'm no fan of the oversized stuff and with WOTC removing it for minotaurs in their write-up, I assume that's their intention. I love bugbears and combined with the sneaky assassin being able to place marks without enemies knowing is tons of fun, plus the temp hp will be needed being up close and personal.
If I can drop all my shrouds on the enemy and use predatory eye I can end up with 2d4+4+5d6 damage with an at-will.... Now that's not common, but a cool option if it works.
So far that is
Phaezen (Flint) - Razorclaw shifter seeker
Renaug (Hale) - bugbear assassin
Voda Vosa - human wild sorcerer
EvilHalfling - Camden Innsbrook
