Question about CSX and D20 Modern

I'm trying to decide if I want to purchase CSX or not for use with my D20 Modern campaign and I've noticed an issue. During character generation, the D20 Modern system has you choose a profession for your character. This basically adds additional skills to your list of class skills, or gives you a bonus if the skill is already a class skill. This doesn't seem to be implemented in CSX, and I don't see how to add it as a custom feature for a specific campaign. How is this supposed to work? I've been using PCGen, which implements this rule correctly, but that software is extremely difficult and confusing to use and its user interface is not at all intuitive. I'm willing to pay for software, if it works...any comments/suggestions? Am I missing something simple?

Thanks,
Dennis

Using the d20 modern expansion for Campaign Suite Extended, occupations are found under the "misc" tab of the character generator. Additionally, on the "Feats" page, you can use the drop down to select "Occupations" and change what you have set, add one, etc.

Great, that's exactly what I needed to know. However, I have one more questions I'm also a player in another 3.5e campaign. THe DM uses DM Genie, mostly for the combat tracker. Does Campaign Suite have a way of exporting a character that is compatable with DM Genie? It's not a "deal breaker", but it would be nice to be able to hand the DM a file rather than a sheet of stats he has to manually enter.

I think I answered my own question...Campaign Manager can create a stat-block for a character. DM Genie can import a stat-block. Granted, the GM will probably have to "futz" with it a bit to get it to work, but that's his problem, not mine

I'll probably be placing an order next payday
